Wonderful review!! I own a 2009 model fusion 1.4 tdci clocked 270 k kms. Still in stock 68 BHP. I do 130kmp in normal drive. Should compliment Ford, an excellent vehicle in all aspects, sturdiness and maintenance free. Definitely once the remapping is done the performance increases,also the mileage. But it depends on the way of driving.
I newly bought a Ford ikon New TDCI Diesel in the year 2010.Still now doing wonder ride.Fantastic car.Can I remap my car.

Need a clarity here, Does it go beyond 3.5rpm in 5th gear ? If it does, till what rpm does it achieve and what's the maximum speed achieved ?
Hi Bro, 1.5 TDCi stock Aspire will go beyond 3.5K rpm and top speed is 180+. Our roads are not made for such a speed. So we haven't tested beyond 140kmph.. This car is capable of doing 200+ easily. Thank you.

I am guessing this is BS6. BS6 diesel lae remap panuna DPF issues neraya varudhu nu kelvi paten. Check channel "TDCI on thrust" Channel. He faced a major smoke issue after he remapped. I think here this owner has changed the exhaust as well. Am I right?
If you drive mostly on the highway you won't get any DFP issue. This owner has not faced any DFP issue. Thank you
Ford recalled all bs6 Tdci and did complete corrections, no issues with dpf in bs6 with a complete city (Bangalore traffic) drive, also i have two freestyle diesel, bs4 and bs6, i feel bs6 is very refined and powerful after correction, compared to bs4 Tdci.
I have EcoSport BS6 version - But I'm facing an DPF issue intermittently, if i drive within Chennai city.
The Ford called and changed the Exhaust filter along with other changes. First few months there is no problem, but after 10 months from upgrade, again getting error in dashboard and there is an lag in performance around 70-90 speed as well
When I contact the Ford, their service guy informed, that i need drive in 3rd gear at above 2000 rpm for around 20 kms, if the issue was persist.
Should I follow the Ford service center words? or any other suggestions do i need to follow on this DPF performance lag (the car still under the warranty)
On highway, its an gem to drive.

DPF has been removed so no issues.
I have EcoSport BS6 version - its an Fantastic Machine to Drive. But only one issue I'm facing is an DPF, if i drive within Chennai city.
