Something doesn't add up. If humanism ideas came from pagan scholars then why did they conflict with the idea,that mankind should be obedient? All humanism cannot be secular because clearly Europe was not secular at the time of Renaissance. It isn't even secular today. It's just the liberal left wingers who are pushing this idea. And if you think that Humanism promoted the advancements in science and technology or gave a boost to inventions and discoveries. Then just give me a break here.
