I’m in Oakdale, California. I was just diagnosed with osteoporosis and am anxious to do as many things as possible to avoid medications. I can not take any oral medications due to esophagus damage I already have and the infusions scare the hell out of me.

I have a question please: I only have 4 lb dumbbells but I also own 1 lb wrist weights. If I combine these two to increase the weight I'm lifting to 5 lbs, Is it just as effective or would 5 lb dumbbells work my arms better?
