      Real talk watching this hit deep. It hurts when you can be what you want to be, physically he will never be the same , its like he came to realize he's older and he is not what he used to be.
      Him pouting on the bench when he had off nights was a bad look.

    Dude had torn acl and Achilles in consecutive years, I Don't know any nba player that had been through that but still be able to play after, let alone helping his team win another ring. We also have to remember he barely missed games before those injuries

      Kawhi Leonard. People quickly forgot everything he'd accomplished and started trashing him. He had three surgeries on the same leg. Stephen A is the absolute worst when he attacks these players. He said Kawhi should retire and said Klay is washed up and plays like garbage. These men are human just like we are and it's tough to hear people call you trash and garbage.

    THAT'S RIGHT KLAY!!!!!! Proud of you bro
    There's no reason to go BACK to who you were when nobody else is able to emulate that either. you have young STUDS in your squad that could be next up if you shift your focus. Enjoy this chapter for what it is. You can become an ELITE MENTOR and TEAMMATE, forget the other stuff you already did that.

    I have the utmost respect for Klay and can relate to his thoughts. Being on top of your game for years, then age gradually creeps in and people say you're not what you once were. That's a hard pill to swallow! By human instinct, we try to prove the critics wrong, but the clock continues to tick. Accepting the truth doesn't mean you're weak or not great, it's simply the decision to age gracefully and enjoying the moments you have. Even Michael Jordan had to face and embrace this change! Salute Klay... you will always be one of the "Splash Brothers!" Nothing can change your legacy!!!

    • @lolSnD
      @lolSnD 10 місяців тому +6

      It's not that age crept in. He was at the height of his prime and then he tore his ACL. AND THEN after healing and rehabbing from that, he tore his Achilles in practice. Back to back potential career ending injuries. Having your prime stripped away from you like that would be nothing but the worst feeling ever. It's reasonable for him to want to get back to where he was, because if it wasn't for the injuries, they would have 5 rings right now.

    • @BoomDocs14K
      @BoomDocs14K 10 місяців тому +5

      @@lolSnD I agree with you, but like Kerr & Klay stated, sometimes trying to prove yourself gets in the way mentally and you can forget who you are! The only alternative to getting old is dying, but will come. However, if we think too hard about both events, we can't enjoy the moments we have. I think that was the point about the negative energy.

      Nah that's crazy, Klay was gunning because he's trying to earn the last big money contract of his career lol. He just put in a 22ppg season mate, no way he retires already barring significant injury.

    • @kevinandrewsphoto
      @kevinandrewsphoto 10 місяців тому +3

      There’s zero chance in him retiring. Shooters careers last longer than any other type. He is also extremely competitive, and his life is purely basketball. He would probably play overseas before hanging up his cleats.
      I’d hate to see him in another uniform, but every team could use a tall 40% 3pt shooting wing.

Aside from just being able to have conversations like this, being introspective, thoughtful, and philosophical, he'll also share with the press and public in ways you don't commonly see from professional athletes. No matter what is going on with the other Phenom Steph Curry he never looses his cool during games. Same personality every day play with self control and 💯💯💯self confidence. Even when the fans are bashing him on is off days. He plays with fun and good energy. 💯💯💯💯Love Phenom Steph! Respectfully!❤❤❤❤

    I love this guy. Screw all the haters Klay, you and the Chef are my GOATs and the real ones know how great you still are!! We got the team to win a chip this year, we just gotta figure it out. We've beat the best team in the league so we know this team is capable of greatness. Oh and we know damnn well you're top 75 Klay. You're way better than Dame IMO who did not deserve to be ahead of you. We know that you got that chip on your shoulder and want to prove the doubters wrong, but the real ones know how great you are so you don't need to be doing too much to compensate for that. We can see how you're getting the young guys involved and making them better now and that's what hall of famers like you do.

    I dreamed of 1 title as a kid cheering for run TMC, knowing our teams just weren't good enough. I still cannot believe we won 4 freaking titles in 7 years...thank you to Klay and Steph for creating a culture that new warrior fans expect, but the OG's know the real pain of being a dubs fan in the 90s and 2000s so our respect for these guys is off the charts. I still pinch myself that we have 4 rings during the Lebron area...

    Basketball is an evolutionary game. Your game has to keep changing with time. I think Warriors changed the game of basketball, particularly with their 3-point games. But now other players have caught up. Now is the time for them to put aside the pressure of another championship and start rebuilding.

    Love the Splash Brothers. Klay is quite the human being. Genuine and real and hardworking. He and Steph are symbolic of why I switched to Golden State from the Celtics after Curry arrived. Watched him during his first year like I have with Patrick Mahomes. Klay just needs to get over a mental block that is inhibiting his game - he is physically back and he will be primed to tear up the second half of the season.

    Often times in the era of modern medicine, fans and even players themselves forgets that most players retires around 35 provided that they had not suffered any catastrophic injuries. While there has been anomalies in more players playing close to 20 years or age 40, they remains few and far between.

    I have to be honest...Klay is the Loin of the game of sport...the offense is not made for him its made for Steph who he praises every chance he gets...just think if Klay didnt go to the Warriors I think Klay still would be Klay probably a couple of MVPS and more...do you think Steph would be Steph without Klay...I just think its unfair to put him down right now...he dont get the spacing he needs...he play with guys that dont understand...he can shoot the when he wants to or he taking bad shot all of a sudden...that whole team taking bad shot including Steph...go back with the starting 5 and let Kumminga play thourgh his mistakes until Dre comes back...and CP3 his defense suck over working everyone else...slows the game down in fast break opportunities klay and Wiggins cant get going period bad combination
