The song you listened to is a cover of the famous song "Blood Type" written by the group "Kino" ("cinema").
"Kino" is a legendary band for Russia. I don’t even know...like Elvis for America or rather like the Beatles. That's how much people in Russia love this band. Especially the older generations. Its lead singer, Viktor Tsoi, died young(in 28 years) in a car accident, but he was a key figure for a new type of in Russia music in the 80-90s. When he died, people were in shock and mourning, and in almost all cities of Russia people made "Tsoi's Walls" where they wrote how they love and mourn for Viktor Tsoi. In Moscow, fans stood near such a wall for 40 days (of course fans changed, but the crowd did not disperse) (Orthodox Christianity (which is popular in Russia) is considered that the soul leaves the earth in 40 days). Then after 40 days people dispersed gradually, but the entire wall was covered with inscriptions and continues to be covered. I was born 3 years after Tsoi's death (so I know the story from my parents' stories) but when I was 15 I was in Moscow for the first time (since I'm from a small town) and I remember that "Tsoi's Wall" existed and it exists until still (even after 32 years).
People loved him for his unique lyrics, very "lifelike" and simple at the same time. Therefore, if you listen to any song by "Kino", any cover of their songs, it is better to do it with subtitles, because fans will always come to the comments and they will be very upset that the text has remained undisclosed, because the songs of "Kino" are, first of all, the deep meaning of the lyrics and soulfulness, this is such an accurate personification of the "elusive Russian soul" in difficult historical times (80-90s). On such an anguish, the peculiarity of the mentality is manifested most clearly, the songs become very deep. "Kino" are a good way to try to feel the soul of the Russian people, but people get upset when the text is ignored. Tsoi' knew how to sing, so even after many years I was a person born after his death, listening to him for the first time became a fan. He could hit the very heart, which is why people still want to visit his grave and quite a few, like me, never saw him alive, but became fans because the music of "Kino" is something unique and eternal.
When I first heard about Tsoi and Kino, "I asked my dad why everyone says that this is legendary music?" Dad said: "It's just a matter of listening, it's hard to explain." I listened and at about 5-7 songs I realized that I will now love this band until the end of my days. Because it is so sincere and beautiful and I burst into tears so I was touched to the core by their music. I just wanted to tell you how much "Kino" songs mean to many Russians.

Понятно же, что это кавер. Алиса и не присваивает себе авторство, у неё указано в описании к видео: группа "Кино"/Виктор Цой, в отличии от Гагариной, которая поёт Кукушку, и нигде не упоминает об авторе песни.

Я не про авторство,а про исполнение.Интрепретировать песню можно,как угодно,но в данном случае лично мне не зашло,о чем и написала.Вам зашло и ради Бога.Группа крови маршевая,брутальная,мужская и так ее и надо петь.А Кукушка,это песня размышление,без гендера,поэтому версия Полины крутая.Но это мое мнение,никого не убеждаю.
