Hey everyone! In today's video, I speak Swedish at normal speed so those of you who are a bit further along in your learning can get some practice as well. Remember to turn on subtitles if you struggle to keep up. What's different for today's video is that there is an English version uploaded to my main channel as well, if you want to hear it in English first or after you have watched this! Links below.

All the stuff that I learned in Duolingo is used here in the way it’s intended to
Jonathan Cy right? I also use Clozemaster which helps a ton.
I'm doing duo lingo now and I have a feeling it's going to take extra lessons for me to understand swedish speaking people.
now this is very fast for me but i can catch a lot of words. your voice is smooth and you speak clearly, it helps a lot :)
Can you make a slow-swedish makeup video? I would really enjoy one.
Please make more of these swedish baking (or cooking) videos! It really helps me learning the language 😄
In the winter, I started my Swedish language learning as a random challenge for myself. I always enjoy your videos, and I like that you spoke at "normal speed," and included subtitles. Thank you!!
" Glöm inte flaggorna"
Det gillar jag mest. Jag hörde nästan allt. Tack så mycket du är min favorit! 😍
I'm actually in Sweden on vacation this week, and that would have been so good today! Not too humid, which is a nice change from home, but damn that sun is hot 😧 I'll definitely be trying this when I get home! Tack!
I had studied Swedish with pimsluer audio tapes awhile ago, maybe 2012, I'm greatly out of practice but it's nice to hear it after a long time and still understand the jest of what's being spoke without much efforts. Swedish is a very lovely language
I can't wait to go to Sweden for mid summer this year. I'm looking to taste the strawberries that swedes say are the best ever.
I LOVE that you’ve started making these videos! A while back a stumbled upon the first video you ever did in Swedish and I remember thinking “wow it’d be awesome if she did more of these!” Haha. Thanks again and keep it up ^^
Hej! Ive been leading Swedish for a year now, at a very slow rate using only Duolingo. I'm so glad I found your channel. It's seriously very helpful, as I am only now starting to progress faster through my journey with this beautiful language. Tack så mycket!!
Thanks for this video! I am learning Swedish on Duolingo but this is definitely more useful.
Just discovered this video. This is great “comprehensible input”! 😊 Tack så mycket!
I love the music.
My favorite channel by far to learn Swedish, thanks so much for your work.
These videos have been so helpful. I hope you make more soon. Tack så jättemycket!
Looks so good Katrin! I have to try this 😍
Bon appétit Katrin!
👍👏👏👏😍
The cake looks delicious. It's so nice to learn a language in a fun way.
Thank you so much for another fun video! Rascal and Menace are happy! ❤️🍰
Thank you Katrin. This is so helpful!
Really enjoyed this video! Some topics I’d like to see are travel vocabulary - like going on a trip, another mukbang maybe lunch or dinner, or a trip to the grocery store.
Tack för båda videorna! Toppen idé 😁
tnx for your work!
This is an awesome cake for my kids to really help make!! Tak så mycket!! I’ve never heard of a pancake cake but now that I’ve seen it, it makes so much sense! I think those are probably what we would call “crepes” because pancakes here in Canada have baking powder in them so they’ll rise and be a little puffy but I think either would taste great. I think I’ll be asking the kids to help me make this this weekend. The only thing I would have to do is flip the pancakes, they can do the rest. They’ll feel great about that. Tak Katrin!! :)
Hope you make swedish meatballs next
Thanks for the video Katrin! Swedish is such a cool language. I've been learning German for a few years but I'm a native English speaker. Maybe I'll try learning Swedish! But I think I'll be pretty rubbish!
The cake looked amazing! *Drool*
Swedish is actually one of the easier languages I've learned, especially if you already speak English and German. :) At least reading is. Not many people speak Swedish here in Australia so I don't get to practice speaking as much as i'd like. :)
+Michael Short Ah I see. :) I will definitely give learning Swedish a go. All the best!
When I started learning Swedish I was using Duolingo, that will get you quite far, but you will have to move on to something more if you want to become fluent. :)
+Michael Short Oh yes I've tried Duolingo, it's a good app. :) I want to enrol on a German course really but I can't at the moment due to different reasons. I have two pen friends who are from Germany and I have been lucky enough to have met them both. My dream would be to live in Germany one day and improve my German.
How long have you been learning Swedish for? :)
a few years, like you with German. I learned German in high school which helped when learning Swedish. :)
Dear Katrin, is it possible to create more videos with cooking recipes, the ones you like, not necessary traditional Swedish ones? And some cultural insights as well? It would be perfect!
Ahhhhhh, A new videoo ,3 thanks
Its delicious
Hey Katrin! Are you going to continue making videos here? They are really helpful to watch when studying a certain topic. It would be cool if you could make one about sport, make-up or going around the city.
Hey, Katrin, is it really the speed in which swedes are talking daily or still a little slower? :D Because I feel like they're talking way way faster (or this may still be because of my lack of vocab) :')
For more videos like this. Greetings from Brazil! :D
Jättesnygga pannkakor!
Den där tårtan ser läcker ut!
I love strawberry and rhubarb together. I bet rubard jam would taste good too. That looked pretty easy maybe even I could make it! Lol
Tack.
Loved your video and also love the background song who sings it?
Hej! I don't know if you take requests but I think a video on how to speak to a Swedish Immigration Officer or Passkontrollören when you arrive in Sweden would be very interesting and helpful for those who are learning Swedish and want to go there. Thanks a lot
toppen!
😍
Im learning Swedish at the moment, but im unable to roll my R's for certain words. Is this a problem or will Swedish speakers still be able to understand me?
They will definitely understand you! :) It's usually what gives it away though... that you're not a native speaker hehe. ;)
Try moving your tongue like you are licking the roof of your mouth just behind your teeth. I'm still learning, too, and it helps, even if I giggle at the thought of it.
And I will watch it in Swedish too...haha 😂❤💪
Greeetings from the Carolinas
I always wonder what causes the brown spot at the center of the pancake
It's where you pour most of the batter before tilting the pan to spread it out, so that part is in contact with the hot surface longer than the rest. ^^
👍👍👍🌹
💙😍
What is the song?
Jacques p those summer nights by windshield
Hej, thank you for your video, this is useful!
But as a french person, for me it is more looking like crepes than pancakes.
They are more like crepes but we call them pancakes. :) But I still think there's a small difference between Swedish pancakes and crepes hehe.
@@KatrinBerndtSWE I have to try this recipe to tell the difference.
Thanks for your answer :)
Pankkaka tårta
JAG DREGLAR JUUUUU
:o
