- Tour Alexa Hampton’s dining room and learn more about her inspiration and sources for this beautiful space she designed at the FLOWER Magazine Atlanta Showhouse.
“I consider animal patterns a neutral, even with all of their vivacity and individuality. This hand-painted wallpaper I designed doesn’t have a single line or striation that is the same, but it’s still interpreted as a repeating motif... Gracie’s tiger pattern beautifully combines with accents of emerald and classical elements such as my Chesneys mantel.”--Alexa Hampton

Over the top? Not at all. There is a warm soft glow to the wall covering that is surprisingly calming to the senses. I agree the green velvet chairs and varied brown tones added depth and elegance to the cheetah print. Glorious room. The entire house is breathtaking. As a lover of rich saturated colors I am in heaven.
Yes! Thank you!
The walls, the chairs, the table settings! Spectacular! So warm and comfortable. Touché
Alexa has been my inspiration for ever!! Such an intelligent interior designer with great taste and eye for beautiful details! This room is a bomb!!! Bravo, Alexa!!!
I love the tip about putting the most beautiful fabric on the back of the dining room chairs. You are so right, it’s eye candy every time you walk through or past the dining room. Thank you Alexa.
Alexa is the best! One of my all time favourite designers and I get such inspiration form her. Stunning room.
I love this room,. it makes me realize how transported one can be by a beautifully designed, detail oriented room. Alexa I really liked your description and thought behind it. thank you!
Your father would be so proud. Not a thing out of place. Excellent !!!
This is exquisite. I loved hearing her talk through her process. Just beautiful
Glad you enjoyed it!
This dining room setting is absolutely gorgeous and I am not only saying that because I love animal print. Despite the disparate items and materials used the room is so well pulled together and it oozes both luxury and sophistication and doing that takes real talent and real skill.
Looks stunning , and green to balance is absolutely beautiful!
I absolutely love the tiger walls. And everything else respectfully compliments them. Those chairs are exquisite. I have a tiger outfit that goes from my tiger hairband down to my tiger shoes. I can imagine standing in this amazing room. I would feel at home.
So much to take inspiration from in this room. Well done!
Glad you like it!
What a beautiful dining room! Amazing patterns, colors and textures!
It really is!
This is a stunning room!!!!!
Simply a work of Art❤
Great dining room… elegant and rich!
We agree!
Glorious, astonishing dining room!!!! The only thing I don’t fully like is the beige oriental carpet
Animal print is definitely a neutral! Forgiving, too, especially on a dining room floor.
Pure Art!
Such Art! Gorgeous
Wow loved it ❤
Beautiful
That is Wao.😍😃
Stunning,a Tigre,pattern wallpaper,not a cheetah pattern!
Glad you like it!
Curious about the crystal chandelier. Would you mind sharing the source?
Hi! The chandelier is Ralph Lauren for Visual Comfort.
I do not like sexy or sophisted used to describe my home, that is why I do not like decorators, homes. They are always to impress and not to live in.
Animal prints, yes. Animal skin, no, that's disgusting. And who in their right mind would want 'heads on a stick' for decor? Just nasty.
The jungle meets decapitated Greek plaster heads viewing a painting of an Italian statue. Purple passion please pass the peas.
Kinda creepy- did you sit in there for a decent amount of time?
I really hope this club doesn't actually use real animal skins... it doesn't look flat at all.
@Brooke @1:52, she says it's paper that's hand painted and custom for this room.
@@sandravega6645 i know that but it does make me feel.... uncomfortable with the image of indangered animal skins. I know its all paper but it just sticks in my head...
These comments 🤣😂🤣. OMG wallpaper with animal print. How many animals were killed to make someone a sumptuous dining room. Lol
