Alief ISD is a proud district that takes any opportunity to showcase the hard work, learning, and fun that goes on in the classroom and around the school. The district provides every parent a photo/video consent form for social media that they must fill out for educators to know if they can be featured on social media or not. I work closely with our school registrar to identify which students can and can't be on social media. If a child's parents opted out of having their child on social media, I have blurred their faces in the videos. The only students featured on this vlog are students whose parents signed the consent form allowing their child to be on social media. However, if students are in large gatherings for events and assemblies, they are not blurred due to their faces already being very obscure in the large environment. In those cases, I do my best to only show the back of their heads to respect parents wishes as best as possible.
