Take a walk with me around Iriga City in Camarines Sur Philippines. One of the main provinces in the Bicol Region, Camarines Sur is home to many unique and fun cities to visit. I've been to Iriga City in Camarines Sur many times, and Ive actually never seen it this slow paced. The vibe was due to Holy Week, which most people stay home or travel to a resort for the week, which is why there were hardly anyone on the streets. I still had a good walk, and it was nice to see Iriga City again.
Iriga still has that small town feel, and Naga has pretty much anything that you need from any major city in the Philippines. More things to do in Naga, but if you want to kick it down a notch, then Iriga is for you!

I was in Iriga for about 4 months sometime on 1967 while detailed at NPC and still a sleepy town that time but loved the people who are friendly.

Which city was nicer in your opinion. Naga or Iriga?
Iriga still has that small town feel, and Naga has pretty much anything that you need from any major city in the Philippines. More things to do in Naga, but if you want to kick it down a notch, then Iriga is for you!
