Yeah they do work extremely hard, but what these clips didn't show is that it's THEMSELVES that push so hard. In all these cases staff and crew backstage always tell them to take it easy or even not go on stage at all if they're feeling bad. But the BTS members themselves always push forward saying that no, they have to go on cuz Armys are waiting. They're really hard on themselves to always carry on.

I think we can see that every time in the way they just collapse or show exhaustion when the performances are over.
Altitude changes can also drastically effect performances. World tours are extremely tough on them. I think they particularly struggled with the South American concerts (Jungkook!) because of those higher elevations…. the air is thinner making it harder to breathe without having time to acclimate to it in addition to not being able to rest properly between concert dates.

They get injuries so often, it hurts to see :( but this dedication is partially what got them to where they are today. They got sick and hurt numerous amount of times on and behind the stage, and I'm sure it will get back to them years later, when the body will start breaking apart. But at that point they will be able to say that they did their best and have no regrets. Or will they regret not paying enough care to their health? Who knows. I just want them all to be happy :( Also, I'm sure there are some more videos with more content on those injuries and hard times on stage, this was like a more rough compilation, and you can watch the full Burn the Stage, Bring the Soul, Break The Silence series, they are very interesting to watch (even the compiling official movies). They also talk about interesting incidents, like for example when the stage nearly broke apart under their legs, when they were performing IDOL full with choreo, and all their staff had to run and hold the stage from underneath. It's crazy.
I think the important thing to remember when it comes to bts is when you're only dancing, your breaks in movement are used to pump your lungs full of oxygen and conserve energy - - bts have to sing/rap. they get fewer opportunities overall to refuel their bodies compared to someone who only sings or only dances. if you watch the behind the scenes fully you'll notice that while they're completely wrecked immediately getting off the stage, they often bounce back very quickly after they've had that puff or two of oxygen (and water). it's a delicate balancing act for them, how far you can go before your body forces you to stop. going over that line too much is dangerous but they have to give enough to complete what they set out to do, so there's a fine line they have to toe. it's really an extreme sport, what they do, definitely on par with athletes at least.
you should definitely watch their documentarys, etc if you haven't already! there's currently 3 movies (burn the stage, bring the silence and break the soul) and each movie had its own mini series too for extra clips! those movies mainly focused on concerts as well! its very interesting to see the behind the scenes of their performances/life because they give sooo much of their all its INSANE. so much respect for them! great video!
You're a really good reactor Adam in the way that you acknowledge the members' struggles and show empathy while also finding things to make light of respectfully. Since the video's topic is so serious I was expecting the mood to be a lot different but I was kind of glad you threw in some light hearted comments like "wow they sure are exhausted. no wonder, their choreography is insane!" plus your confusion with the oxygen tanks lol. You also could've easily made a joke at a scene like Jungkook passed out on the floor but you didn't and I know that's basically the bare minimum but you're very considerate and it's nice to see :)
From what we've seen over the years and heard from them personally in the interviews etc, it's them who make the choice of going 100%, of doing another take, another concert etc etc, all seven are perfectionists. This is such hard work and army love them all the more for that.
It influences the change of altitude, the change of climate (they go from a very cold place to a very hot one), the time zones, jet lag and many other things.

They're amazing, I wouldn't be able to do the things they do. They go so hard and they're exhausted backstage yet on stage you can't tell they are having a hard time like that. And they keep doing it, they love performing so much they keep doing it. Allthough I think they learned to pace themselves these days, but we'll never know for sure untill we get another behind story.
In terms of physical demand what they do is on par with olympic athletes, especially when they're on tour. RM has previously said they burn about 2000 calories per concert. However I would also bear in mind that a lot of these clips are taken out of context to make the video as dramatic as possible.
BTS, especially Jimin V and JK, never give 100%. They only know how to give 200%. The other members are always telling them to slow down or to pace themselves but they never listen. Even when they can get no higher as artists, they still do it to this day. I don't think they will ever stop giving their all to ARMY no matter how much we tell them to look after their health!💜
Adam, I enjoy your narrative very much, as well as your understanding and empathy. Congratulations on your baby. By the way, I’m assuming that’s your voice on the opening of each video. You have a beautiful voice! Love it!

As you will notice, 90% of the time it is Jimin and JK who are the most tired (then there is V). That's because JK and Jimin always give their all and they're the ones who go the hardest when they're on stage, like it's the last concert, I admire and respect BTS because they could do what many other artists, they could just say they feel bad and they will be sitting for the entire concert, army would understand and we would not mind at all seeing a concert where they are sitting all the time, but they choose to give their all
I agree but jk is the one who rehearses the most he's always the earliest to arrive n the last one to leave jimin is annoyed that he always had to wait for him bc they share the same car.
what a way to downplay the hard work the rest put 🙄 Jm and JK over do it and hurt themsleves unnecessarily a lot of times. The others put their all too. For example Jin was sick for almost half of the LY tour and he tried his best to not show it on camera. He's preformed while having leg injuries, a serious neck injury in the past, been seen limping.. Yoongi preformed with a chronic injury for years.. Don't downplay what the rest go through just cuz they don't all feel comfortable crying or showing it on cam
And who are you to say that? Do you perhaps live with them? Or ar you one of the staff members? Those footage are not everything. I'm a Jimin stan, but what you're saying is a BIG NO!
BTS Army around the world have seen this far back at that time when the members hid this from their Army and the only thing is was the cameramen did this to show by asking Sir Hitman Bang PD if they can give this to their Army which was heartbreaking to see behind the scenes of this Under the stage for us to see the same way Adam is explaining 🥺👀 ... They doing this for the love of their fans is frustrating with worried but be strong for them ... thank you Adam for your explanation is the same way as us global Army 🤗💜🤗 stay safe stay safe and healthy all around you 🙏💜 Adam and please stay away from that omicron 🥺👀
Those cans were oxygen but they don't use them all the time. Plus they were playing in South America where some of the cities were at a higher altitude. They do get exhausted like that though. They work so hard. 💜
These clips don’t give full context. For example, some of these clips were from their concert in Saudi Arabia where the humidity and heat were overwhelming - so its just not only the singing & choreo but also the dynamics of the location where they are performing that they are navigating. They just work so hard that it seems effortless on stage while behind the scenes…
It's a lot of pressure and commitment from them for what they're doing. Even whenever they can't perform or give their 100% then it comes the guilty and regrets.
These are all bits of the full clips actually, so its hard to get the full context. Generally these type of clips in official media show them on stage, the injury or illness, an explanation, them receiving medical care, and recovering. A few of these clips (specifically for Jimin and V) were when they got sick on tour. I think Jimin had either a throat or chest infection from the 2019 Chicago concert where they were on stage in the rain for 3 hours. He then was quite ill by the time they got to Brazil and could not sing his higher or lower notes. It's shown how the guys back each other up when they can not sing bits. At one point JK sings for Jimin (which is what is shown when we see Jimin crying on stage and JK hugging him). For the Chile clip where JK is on the floor receiving treatment, you can look up 'JK collapsing in Chile' (its in their youtube series 'Burn The Stage') and it looked like a mix of altitude sickness and heat stroke.
I'm pretty sure those cans are oxygen. They not only are fit from dancing but most, if not all, work out in gyms and do other sports as well (e.g., boxing, hiking, etc.). They do push hard as they want to make sure ARMY is happy with their performances. Whenever someone is injured, they really get upset with themselves for not being able to perform, or perform fully. When someone is sick, they usually still perform but others try and cover for them for singing anyway, and sometimes for the rap parts too. Also, kudos to the staff who take care of them on these tours, and even once had to risk their own safety to hole up the stage that started collapsing because of the weight from backup dancers and BTS. I can't even imagine all that BTS and the staff have been through.

No amount of money, fame, or adoration of fans is worth the toll their art is taking on their bodies. If I was their mother, I would be beside myself with worry to see them so depleted and in significant pain.
Whatever they are being paid? It’s not enough! The company and the country of Korea are making a fortune off these kids backs, and with the amount of money they’re bringing in, I would say they deserve much more that what their current net worth is, especially after all these years.
People who say BTS lipsynch can go cry in their corner. When Jimin can't sing (because of his throat), fans knew right away and sang for him. For the next night show, Jimin asked JK to sing together with him to support his strained vocals.
Hi! These videos didn't have the members' narration on them and instead had background music is because of copyright. These clips are varied clips from their Burn The Stage and Bring The Soul documentaries, all of which are paid content! Nice video btw, its nice to see you reacting to not only the performances but what happens to deliver such performances. :)
during the love yourself tour V would have to do 7 songs in a row (others wouldn’t because this included Vs solo and whatnot) and it definitelyyyyy exhausted him
They are their worst critics. We always appreciate how hard they work to be able to perform for us like they do. Their documentaries have shown just how much it means to them and what they're willing to do. None of using enjoy seeing them hurt or upset. When we trend something after any of them have a rough performance that can potentially be a comfort but it doesn't always stop them from criticizing themselves and their performance. While RM is probably the most likely have some sort of accident, Jimin and Jungkook are probably the most likely to get injured because they often overdo it. Suga's shoulder injury would cause issues every now and then so hopefully the surgery helped. You never know who's going to get hurt and/or how. The song near the very end of the video, Idol is a very fast paced song and has some of the most difficult choreography they've performed (they almost always say Danger was the hardest) so it can take a lot out of them. The clip of Jungkook having trouble standing was after a performance I was talking about in my comment for part 1.
Their nutrition actually does not seem very good. You can see clips of them behind stage eating white bread with jam and/or peanut butter, a lot of ramen and other food that will not help them much what so ever. Vegetables are not a huge part of Korean diet, but it shocks me that they don't have a nutritionist(or just that the people ordering food picks the right things) making sure they eat vegetables, full grain products or other food with high fibre, a lot of protein and so on. When athletes go to the olympics, do you think their nutrition is random? Grab a banana and some instant ramen? No. That's not how you perform your best. I do think some of the fatigue could be helped.
did you know that they revealed that its more exhausting to do an online concert than the offline? its exhausted their body but more of with their mind and emotions since audience were not there... :(
It really seems brutal to watch a compilation like this. But it's also important to keep in mind that this is a compilation, with footage covering at least three years (if not more) with the Wings Tour, LY Tour, and SY Tour. So while they definitely always exhaust themselves on stage in an effort to put on a good show, thankfully they don't always go over the limit quite this much every time.
They do like 50 shows a year, so at least 5 times they will feel bad after more time passes, their energy will not be the same at the beginning of the tour as at the end after traveling all over the world and giving so many concerts. That's why I couldn't be harsh with them, I fully understand that they won't always sing perfectly
sad that most of those clips is jimin but also understandble since he is the one usually doing the hard parts of the choroes and also responsible of doing 90% of highnotes and song s bridges
Jk usually doesnt eat before the show or concert. Before the shooting of butter mv jk said he literally didn't eat for 5 days other than water for 5 days..
Especially Jimin and JK go to the edge a lot. Jhope has tried to say that they need to be more conscious about their energy consumption.

tours exhaust them and drain their bodies but they love doing it so much 🥺
I miss Adam reaction to BTS..I felt like its been so long since I watch him react to BTS....well it might be just me😂
during the love yourself tour V would have to do 7 songs in a row (others wouldn’t because this included Vs solo and whatnot) and it definitelyyyyy exhausted him
They are their worst critics.
Congratulations !
Yeah it is oxygen can
0:45 that V..it was too much for him since his Singularity solo is in between 2 medleys so he don’t have time to rest and have to perform straight.
Yes they are portable oxygen
It’s oxygen
Always jk and jimin very tired …i cried when jimin fainted😢
Их выносят на руках с концерта!
They are rescue oxygen.
Can you please react to Taeyeon's top 12 emotional singing as well as Shinee's best live vocals
did you know that they revealed that its more exhausting to do an online concert than the offline? its exhausted their body but more of with their mind and emotions since audience were not there... :(
It really seems brutal to watch a compilation like this.
The cans are oxygen.
I'm feeling guilty, that they are pushed to that point again and again and again.
Can you please react to more recent BTS stuff? I miss your BTS reactions!!
They do like 50 shows a year, so at least 5 times they will feel bad after more time passes, their energy will not be the same at the beginning of the tour as at the end after traveling all over the world and giving so many concerts. That's why I couldn't be harsh with them, I fully understand that they won't always sing perfectly
Can u react BIG MAMA - Killing voice please? I ll be glad to see a coach opinion of them :)
please react to Love Poem - Kingdom with Seungmin Eunkwang and Jongho !!! PLEASE 🥺 I really want to see your reaction
Pleaaasseee react to dear patience by niall horan at the Royal Albert Hall
The cans are compressed air or at least that's what I heard them call it in videos. Don't know if that's different from just pure oxygen
