A nice tip for cleaner cable management is that you can link equipment together in a chain before you give it power. So if you for example have 4 electric furnaces, you can link them to together, like a chain, and then link the last one to the generator or power pole itself
@@timcross3426 yes, you can daisy chain all solar or any genetrators or mix of generators together. same goes to each electrical equipment like furnaces, fridge, stove, etc... I would not recommend daisy chaining the turrets or other defenses together though just incase one gets destroyed.

I'm trying to install a tower like in your video, but cant seem to install a door. Any ideas. Only way i know how to install doors is to build a frame/wall. NVM scratch that figured it out lol
Save yourself some headaches with these notes: 1) [B] to open build menu, [~] to enter flight mode, now you can build normally and not fuss with climbing/jumping. 2) Wire placement. You can not only link all your generators before sending one wire to a node, you can also link your various other structures together to cleanly wire. Need to clean up wires now? Hover over undesired wire, press [R], wire is removed. Press [L] in build mode to hide wires and pipes otherwise. 3) Hate the pylon? Use a wall switch. Put one near power hogs / temporary use structures. Wire to it, then from it to your temporary use stuff. 4) Fishing can help, catch a few electric eels to help with power. The rest comes from further sources like specializations (more generated, higher generator cap.) 5) Keep a couple standard smelters, but switch to the upgrade asap. This will reduce your charcoal dependency early, freeing up beaver slots. Later, you can use beavers for biomass.
you need to daisy chain the items needing electricity together then run the wire from the last piece of equipment to the generator otherwise you will have a million wires running everywhere.
1. So basically. When u need turets , put off the other switch and put that on and the other way around? Do you do this only for the ''extra turrets you might need'' or for all turrets?
i saw a guy in the chat that he say his flamethrower dont work too, the other guy answered him: put only turret they are better , that is the way to go

can you link solar panels together before connecting to a pylon?
@@timcross3426 You can at least link solar panels, just unsure about the Pylon. Will do a test when I get home from work today

So when you press L in build mode to hide the cables will it hide them for other players or will they be able to see my shitshow of cable management 😂
@@SirSpamAlot1928 good idea lol
Just a tip, you can press L when in build mode to make all wires hidden.
Great tip thanks !
does that hide it for the other players as well or only for mee in the base ?
@@abbasmerhi1 I'm not a 100 percent certain on that. However, I do know that my hive mates said they couldn't see the wires/pipes when I hid them.
@@abbasmerhi1they can see it even though you hide it on build. You still have to fix your cables.
Thanks, Nooblets. After so much help with Ark over the years, you're still helping me with other games.
It’s awesome to see you playing Once Human too. I’m a fan from all of the Ark videos and they have helped me a lot of times. Keep up the great work! 🙌
Thanks mate ;)

That’s three games I’ve watched your guides on now 😁🙏🏻👌🏻
It's good to see your videos again. I used to watch you ASE ones. I stopped around when ASA was released- when I started playing other games.
