THE ONLY DEVICE!!!!!! That means you can buy cheap kindle books and have them read to you while cleaning the house, going for a walk, working out, playing video games!!!! HOW is this major feature not on anyone’s radar!!!!!!??????????
This is awesome for my spin bike 🚴. I dint want to use my expensive iPad to watch videos and use the peloton app. Specially since it will be on work out equipment . And if it falls and brakes not a big deal

My main issue is that we can’t use live streaming chats with this tablet. I do hope Amazon puts that capability into a their tablets. It’s a very big drawback ⬇️
Silk browser sucks though sometimes does not work at all and on web browser keeps sayimg site blocked original content to save space click here makes watching videos unwatchable my old Amazon fire did not have that issue that much. But the Amazon fire 8 hd 8 generation does which you would think it would not since the 8th generation you would think they would have got rid of the bugs hate to see how bad the 1st generation was gesh.
my daughter has no patience with this tablet. it is just too slow for,she cannot switch between apps in a snap. she always wait for everything to load. you get what you paid for. good for streaming only not for kids games too
@@garethpatmore5313 Patience can be learned and developed but this device (regardless of how patient or impatient a person, how young or old) is still something you would not want to use in general. There's no way it can still improve its performance. Life is short to waste time and money on things that will not satisfy or meet your expectation.
I want to play my 3rd party videos off an SD card... Can I install VLC? or watch offline? I feel like these devices need me to be on a constant wifi connection.
@@ulfricstormcloak7142 late reply, but I hope it could still be useful. The cpu in the HD 10 is faster, the gpu is twice as fast and the screen has higher resolution. To me the problem is that it weights more than a pound a using it in bed to watch a movie is a bit uncomfortable.

It's a great tablet and even better when you were lucky to grab it on prime day for only. £45.00. Battery life is awesome on this model.
