I know that was your phone but still, Roth was terrible and pathetic. I can't believe that was the last of what used to be the most rocking band in the world back in the day.
Well, everyone ages. Do the Rolling Stones sound as good as they did from the 60's to the 80's? Dave might make a guest appearance during Sammy and Mike's VH tribute tour this July and August playing many VH hits. I see Wolfgang did play VH music in the past as bass player but he only played it when he was with his father in VH. He refuses to play any VH songs in Mammoth WVH. Only exception was when he played Panama and a few other songs at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert.
@@robkrasinski6217 I can't stand the rolling stones. Especially when they claimed their last tour and never to tour again back in 81 or earlier. As for getting old, I just turned 61 and I can play my drums just as good as when I was in my twenty and thirties. Have you seen Alex play lately? He's a monster, and is ten years older than me, and plays like he hasn't aged at all. As for Wolfgang, I really feel bad for the guy. I'm sure he cherished the time spent playing with his dad, but the way they went about pushing out Michael Anthony was not cool at all. Of course I'm only speculating at this point. Not wanting to play any VH songs makes sense out of respect for who, Mike? But if you think about, they all knew each other pretty good back then and they probably (ok Eddie) thought that it was the only way to have Wolfgang play bass in VH and tour. I don't blame Wolfgang for any of that. Who knows, but do I want Dave singing in a VH tribute? No, I'd rather have Wolfgang playing guitar along with Sammy and anybody else sing lead. Hello! Just have Sammy sing all the hit songs. He's a much better singer anyway. The Red Rocker is a legend in my book. Just my opinion and preference. Especially after the shit Dave has been talking about Wolfgang, What an A-hole!
What did Dave say about Wolfgang? Is he mad that Van Halen the band is over? But Wolfgang didn't want to replace his father in the band as lead guitarist and he didn't want anyone else replacing his father, so VH was done after his father passed. They were on hiatus since Oct 2015. At least Sammy and Mike are carrying the VH torch for now. But, Hagar has hinted at retirement so this might be your last chance to hear Sammy sing VH songs with Mike this July and August, as well as Dave making a few appearances.
I saw them in 1979 and yes Dave was much better then.
Dave voice is burnt out nowadays..
a wonderful dream - VAN HALEN
❤
Not like early stuff but a decent pop song
