Skilled riding. He must have lost focus due to putting out so much concentration around the course. I have felt my concentration waning after racing and have had to keep myself in check of this, so It may be why he screwed up at the end. Great rider!
As a GSXR Man myself I can honestly say that guy is awesome there is no way my stretched out 1000 can' do anything like that this guy deserves mad props. His control over that bike is wicked. 👍👍
Be cool to see the time difference and just overall riding difference between this modified bike and a completely stock bike. Those bars alone greatly increase the handling ability compared to stock Clipons. Either way awesome riding, and just a little overly excited at the end there with that mess up lol
@@FragEightyfive I've seen many bikes run courses like these. Its actually cooler to watch a large bagger style cruiser tackle these courses. But the bars alone greatly increase the speed at which you can finish this track. Would of been cool to see the same person run back to back with the 100% stock bike just as comparison. Crazy skill though, really shows that just being able to shift gears and ride a bike up and down the road isn't really knowing how to ride. Id love to try this type of riding out to sharpen my skills even though I've been riding for 14 years and know theres always more to learn.
@@roz4747 everything almost. The clutch, the brakes, his own movement of the body and weight distribution, they all matter . There are probably no secrets at riding this good besides practice and being familiar with the course.
shocked at how broken up the bike got from such a small fall.. I dropped flipped my yzf so many times... but never damage like this from something so little.
front suspension damping too soft. You can see, that the lack of rebound damping caused him to tip over, while he was doing the stoppie. Just take a close look at the fork. The soft damping may be good for gymkana, but not for stoppies, obviously.
@@ricecakeFTW I race a 2015 CBR1000RR in WERA and I went out on a Ninga 400 to play at a trackday and I questioned the single sided rotor on it. I was amazed at the stopping power from a single disk. It didnt weigh nearly what this bike weighed, but for unsprung weight and maneuverability I can see why. Those guys are skilled.
@@The1mybuddy1 you really need 2 rotors for braking from speeds over 100 mph where you need that much stopping power to utilize the speed into heat of rotors. On a parking lot speeds one rotor is enough to pull a stoppy like this
I was just going to say, that's some of the best riding I've seen manoeuvring round real world road objects. Was surprised at the overdone 'stoppie' at the end, but as someone's already commented, just goes to show, on 2 wheels, the slightest mistake can throw you off the bike. Glad to see the rider was OK, apart from maybe a bruised ego, but kudos to him (I'm assuming it's a him) for showing us mortal riders what's possible. Respect. 👍
This dude is a beast! Nevermind that last part. We all make mistakes.
Some Guys are doing it on a hayabusa
Meh when you're doing this, crashes/mistakes are kinda likely
Nice but so funny at last i watch it again and laugh still
I thought he was trying to do a trick at the end.
Yup!
This guys is an awesome rider, but I think the camera man deserves some love too.
Fair point
Nah, he should've actually zoomed out a bit so we could see some of the course too.
Exactly 😉

First real chance to twist the throttle in a straight line, and I think he just got overzealous seeing the end in sight, and wanted to go out strong
Bet those 3 loops before the straight threw off his equilibrium
Left all his mental agility on the course. Good to see he is alright. Definitely not funny in my book.

Phenomenal skills. The Japanese really take discipline and training to another level, don't they?

Stock clip ons -double the time, at least
Besides the bars it's probably almost all factory with a slip-on and some custom sliders. Any bike can do this, even cruisers, just not as quickly.

That's because a motocross bike is designed to be crashed regularly, a gsxr is not at all designed to be crashed regularly.

Pretty good braking for only a single rotor on the front.
