This is the ideal motorhome for all trips away throughout the year and with the solar panels and powerful leisure battery can be completely independent for off-grid camping adventures or enjoy the facilities of camp sites.
    There is also a designated space for a Porta Potti toilet to allow independence and use on campsite where facilities are closed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

    You did a very good job on the explanation and demo of the vehicle, I am on my third Romahome so don't need one, previously had a 1988 model, then a 1994, and currently with a 2008 R20,brilliant little campers.

      Thanks. I didn't actually keep diaries but toured most of the UK on trips of up to a month each, mostly in remote areas and without using any campsites.

    Nice review
    Shame about not having a built in cassette loo

      Disagree. Many RH owners don't even use the loo (use campsites instead) so it would use valuable space. A porta-potti or other portable loo can be used instead and make the best use of the space available.

    Thanks very much for the great demonstration.
    Would you consider posting similar video showing how you with pack cooking, supplies, awning etc.
    Any tips for increasing storage space. I see some owners have ised velcro bags on roof!
    Thanks
    Nikki

      My packing was probably not typical. I only wild camped, never used sites or awning and had to be self sufficient for a month off grid. I carried a folding bike on the passenger seat, filled the passenger footwell with bottled drinking water, clothing was in the cupboard over the sink apart from a bulky down coat which covered the bike on the passenger seat. Food was in the cupboard beneath the sink and rear offside pod beneath the bed. Electrical bits were in the rear nearside pod and any vehicle maintenance in the front nearside pod behind the passenger seat. I also used an additional compressor coolbox above this pod powered by the solar panels.

    Hi we have inherited an old romahome. Can somebody explain to me what we turn on or off to get the fridge to work on electric hook up.

    • @klwsproductreviews6148
      @klwsproductreviews6148  3 роки тому +2

      Just connect your hook-up lead, check your van electrics are switched on, switch on the fridge mains switch usually at floor level then switch on the green switch on the fridge - assuming you have a van similar to my HyLo. The C15 Romahomes probably have a different set-up and possibly not a 3way fridge.
