    In Arther`s defense, I really think fan fan is good entertainment but from a viewer perspective, the way they both behave and present themselves, he is right... Fan fan behaves like a young lady and Acie like a grown up woman. If is a character or not, i couldn't care less, but it is the way they portray themselves.

    Yeah its actually language barrier.
    In german a "mädchen" (girl) can refer to either an adult or a child.
    If a woman is not really ladylike (exactly like fanfan) calling her woman or lady would be formal/cold/distant towards her.

    • @zippo718
      @zippo718 Місяць тому +4

      It's no different in English. Its all context. A phrase like ''beautiful girl'' usually refers to adults. Otherwise Bruno Mars singing about ''beautiful girls all over the world'' would be in jail. Or imagine saying ''You go, Woman!'' In fact in every day speech, girl probably refers to adults more than children. Woman is simply too formal.
      Girl has basically also become the equivalent of guy (no one uses gal except maybe the midwest). For example, a new employee would be known as the ''new guy'' or ''new girl''.
      BUT if you say you're not a woman, you're a girl, you might offend someone lol.

    Technically it has two definition. Bot and girl can be referred to as adolescent child or young man or young woman . So it depends on context . I sometime hear people say “this girl is stupid”. Or girls say this boy is stupid. It also can be used as a way of demeaning or making fun by calling a man a boy or a woman a girl.

      @ChiefBret Місяць тому

      @mcorrelje I was thinking that people use woman and girl pretty interchangeably without it being weird like they made it. Boy and man is more distinct in my mind just because that's how it has always been to me. But people say all the time "Woah, did you see that beautiful girl" or something similar and nobody bats an eye. I just thought it was strange cause people like to bait the "woah, did you mean like a child" in so many things that obviously aren't meant that way, it's just repetitive and kinda weird if you think about it, idk.

      @AT-rr2xw Місяць тому

      @@ChiefBret The issue is that he was not using them interchangeably, but using them specifically to differentiate the two of them. And then he tried to backtrack without really explaining himself well. I do agree that they overreacted...for the clip. But I would not be surprised if he walked into that deliberately so that they could overreact for the clip.

    • @ChiefBret
      @ChiefBret Місяць тому

      @@AT-rr2xw idk, even using it to differentiate doesn't make it as weird as they made it out to be. He could just mean it like their behavior, one being more mature and the other being less mature. Calling one a girl doesn't mean they're a minor or a literal child. It's like my coworker who's like 40 and talks about her and her "girl friends". It's just not weird in everyday conversation.

I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Maria L Clare is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!
