Hello Tina...I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. Are you looking to add chapters in Reedsy, or is it from importing your story from a DOC file? Or, do you need a table of contents? If you're adding chapters, you can click on the blue + button on the top left of the book editor.
Hello. I'm currently working on a list of writing apps for authors as I try them out. So far, I have used Campfire, Scrivener, and Reedsy. I would love to give Atticus a try, but it doesn't have a free version and I don't have the money to buy it yet. Of course, it also depends on what you're looking for. Reedsy has a bunch of services on top of the writing app. If you're curious, I do have a growing list of self-publishing tools on my blog: writersanctuary.com/self-publishing-tools/ I hope that helps.
@@jonasenriquez9365 Actually, I'm still quite in love with Reedsy. I am just about ready to publish my second book, and so far, it's definitely among my favorites. And recently, Reedsy added a section for tracking notes and such, which I plan on doing a video about soon. So far, I'd have to say it would go Reedsy, Campfire, then Scrivener. However, I plan on spending this year trying out new writing apps.
@@jonasenriquez9365 You are very welcome. And yes, if all goes well, I should be able to try Atticus next month. It's on the top of my "to buy" list. :) And thank you.
Well, when you click the "Edit" for Back matter, you have the option to enable the "About the Author" page. If you need more space, you can also create a chapter and drag it to the Back Matter section and rename it other than "chapter." I hope that helps.
If you use the upload your work feature and then decide to get a literary agent to publish through the big five publishers. Does this disqualify you from doing so since they want exclusive rights to it. Is this private until you hire someone?
It is still your work. You can then export it as a PDF or Doc for your agent after writing. Essentially, the book writing part of Reedsy is just that...a writing app. My plan is to export when I'm done writing and editing to publish on Amazon myself. Though, I do plan on trying Reedsy's services this year with another book. I hope this helps. 😊
@@WriterSanctuary I know you haven't done Atticus yet, but do you think that Atticus would have more or about the same to offer that Reedsy does? Based on what you do know so far.
@@neosoulwriter I'm not sure, to be honest. Atticus has the preview function and a few other features that I'm interested in trying out. I'll still buy it and give it a go. Regardless, it'll give me content for later. :)
@@WriterSanctuary I have a story to tell you about the Writergurus interview that I had today. I will save that for Monday. Any viewers that might see it on Indeed, I want them to have a huge heads up first.
@@WriterSanctuary I was sold on Atticus but after looking at your review with Reedsy, I am split. I am just waiting on available funds before I try out Atticus. I like the one-time fee.
Actually, you can. Highlight the text you want to justify. Reedsy will launch a toolset when you select the text automatically. Then, click through the left, center, and right justification options.
How did you get your chapters to show up in the list?

Hello sir! Hopefully you notice this! Doing some research. What are reedsy competitors in your opinion? Can you name some please?
