      That harness is really not as bad when you lay it out. It is for sure deceiving in a pile.

      Working on it. Had some delays. But tunnel and floor is done, custom driveshaft done, exhaust done. We will be working and filming this weekend. Cooling system, wiring still need to be done.

    Oh dang just by looking at the wires I don't want to do a swap anymore.

    • @SpiralDesignWorks
      @SpiralDesignWorks  4 роки тому

      It is not that bad. Actually eliminate a lot of old wires. the engine and trans have their own harness and we use a new custom "body"harness. Almost plug and play.

    I’ve been trying to find out if the Lincoln is the same platform as a 67-69 thunderbird. I think a sway would be easy

    • @SpiralDesignWorks
      @SpiralDesignWorks  2 роки тому

      They were built on the same production line with some similar parts. What specifically are you asking about?

      @@SpiralDesignWorks sorry. I’m asking about the engine bay fitment. I don’t believe the 67-71 t-bird had shock towers. Thanks

    Sick fuking car, how much the engine cost tho?

    • @SpiralDesignWorks
      @SpiralDesignWorks  4 роки тому

      The engine and transmissions are $8-12k depending on mileage, new etc. Plan to spend another $10k on misc. parts. plus labor for install.

    Hello hello I just saw a video of an LS swap and it looks a lot easier.... Do you think you guys can do one on a 64 conv.

    • @SpiralDesignWorks
      @SpiralDesignWorks  3 роки тому

      Yeah LS motors are tiny and fit just about anywhere. For many they just can't deal with the idea of a chevy or hemi in a Lincoln. We are currently booked well into 2022.

    • @SpiralDesignWorks
      @SpiralDesignWorks  4 роки тому

      Working on it. There were some delays in the build. We are hoping to fire it up this weekend and I have been working on the part 3 edit. soon....

    What year coyote motor works best for a 61 Continental? I heard some years don’t work too well? How true is this? Thx in advance.

    • @SpiralDesignWorks
      @SpiralDesignWorks  3 роки тому

      ALL the 61-69 will require cutting of the "frame" to fit the very wide engine and custom headers which we sell on our website. I recommend upgrading (?) to the smaller 66-69 (probably a whole bunch of later years and models) steering box. Gives more room for headers

    How much you guys charge to do this swap to a 62 Lincoln convertible let me know thanks

    • @SpiralDesignWorks
      @SpiralDesignWorks  3 роки тому

      As you can see there is a lot involved and a lot of variables. Could be any where from $20-35k easy. We basically have it down to a science now.
