I know they can't do it for security reasons but I kinda hate how bright the Spirit stores are. I have a local costume shop and it's pretty much like going haunted house. They turn down off the main lights, put on spooky music and you shop in darkness with just some accent lighting. It rules.
Spirit stores *can* be dark it just depends on the space. From what I noticed it’s mainly small stores that are darker while big box ones are bright because they’re former Bed Bath and Beyond’s or Toys R Us’s which were all bright by default.
Man I wish we had a place like that here. Looks like an awesome place to cruise around in! That jumping spider was great.Oohh I would totally get that Bates Motel light up sign

PD7, Man, Spirit Halloween is awesome this year! Scratch the Werewolf from Costco, I want to see Mr. West vs. the Jumping Spider :) Did you know there was a Spirit Halloween movie? It doesn't look like my jam, but thought I'd throw it out there :) If you haven't seen the movie Trick R' Treat (the doll that looked like ET), you need to see that one. A Halloween Classic! I went yesterday hasn’t shown up here yet, maybe later in the week they’ll have some. I’m interested to see it in person, what do you think of it so far?

Went to my local Spirit Halloween this year and bought the killer clowns from outer space hand puppets collectibles
They were huge this year! I remember watching that for the first time on HBO :)

Loved the spider jump scare!! Amazing store for sure, can it actually survive year round or is it only open seasonally?
It’s just seasonal, they always set up in an abandoned store for 3 months.
