They managed to do a decent Sentinel Prime. Wondering how they can make a better Knight Prime, even tho he isn't my favourite. I've got the TLK Voyager Prime with toyhax stickers added
@@deang5386 I got an oversized BMB KO of the TLK voyager and it's pretty good for the $17 I paid for. I will say I hope they somehow make the SS one even better than the TLK Voyager, specifically the calves and backpack. I think they can make a shield out of the cab of the truck to make the back look clean in robot mode.

I'm in no rush for a new Knight Prime, so whenever he decides to pop up that will be fine for me. Just got MPM-12 a few weeks ago. There will probably be a SS86 Prime they are working on in secret as well.
i'd say that without the backpack the figure looks a tad bottom heavy with how bulky the legs look, but yeah- that's a gorgeous figure regardless. I dislike the general proportions compared to the voyager mold released later on, but by god do the paint and plastic colors make up for it.
I had the Hasbro mold growing up and I remember taking this thing everywhere on road trips and constantly transforming it and it never got old. I sadly don't have it anymore and don't know what happened to it but it was an amazing figure
I've got the Optimus version of this guy and it's amazing. The paint detail looks even better in person. I just rest the bottom of the shield on the shelf and have his hand resting on the top and it looks pretty good that way.
Oh man the memories I had with this. I think I ended up selling him in favor of the TLK Voyager, since I felt that it slightly inched over the leader as the definitive version. Sometimes I still miss this tho 😢

I have the movie the best aoe evasion mode optimus, its pretty great but it doesn't have any new molding aside from possibly the head which has a mouth plate, so he still has the massive gun and skinny arms. It does bring a new used for those ss-05 blades cause he looks sick with them

It improves on paint and has a few improvements but the mold is terrible, the backpack is enormous and the kibble is just pathetic. This figure is an improvement but its not good. Overall id call this a good looking piece of crap
i've got the movie the best last knight megatron and my god the paint is amazing they didn't fix the weird inwards elbows tho in fact they didn't change anything about him other then the paint which is ok he looked good before and amazing now but it means the QC issues with the original figure remained
Try review unique toys challenger, it’s a third part optimal prime. It has the body of the transformers last night. But the big this about it is that it transforms and has no back pack kibble at all, it is highly articulated and is only 100-130 buck for an amazing toy
Technically it's the AOE platinum version that came in a two pack with AOE leader grimlock, the only difference is just that the takara one is a little darker, and that the face changes
I have the normal optimus without the red slash on the side of his face the lighter blue one and honestly I'm quite happy with the look and the transformation I got it second hand though so I don't have any of the weapons
Love the paint. Hate how bad it looks compared to the one tlk optimus figure. The biggest problem for me besides the backpack of this figure is the shoulders. Like what were they thinking when making the shoulders

Someone actually thought to paint the Western Star text on the sides. They should have led with this. As an owner of a Takara Buster Prime at that time, no amount of eye bleach was enough to make me unsee the AOE Optimus first edition. They should have at least led with this version.
I remember seeing the hasbro leader and just balking at it's robot mode. No way I was ever going to get it. This new take makes me a little sad because I never did get any kind of optimus after the excellent DOTM/ROTF take.
If I’m correct, in g1 there was an episode where Optimus was cloned and that was the beginning of nemesis prime, and he looked the exact same. so this nemesis was very accurate to g1 apart from the whole, y’know

I disagree. I really like the mold and this makes it even better. Sure the TLK voyager is more accurate but this mold is much more fun IMO.
