Thanks, that cleared up a lot for me because I was on the fence about both of them. I'm still rocking the Machine Studio and I'm truly happy with that. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I was thinking about going with the MK3 but I went with the Mikro, still love it all the same though. Love being able to have full control over the sound of my music.
i had the maschine plus and only really used it pluged in to the computer i would go for the mk3 because you can use third party plugins in the software. the plus is really well built though
I knew it guys. See? It’s not 100% stand alone like the Mpc Live 2. Same with the Push3. Only the MPC Live are the best standalone on this earth 🌍. Peace and love 💕
I am trying to set up MK3 with MK2 to work together in the mac air. On a stand together. My wife uses MK3 I just play guitar and other stuff, and record and stuff thats all I know how to do. I dont know Maschine at all. I know how turn it on and mess around thats it. I want to surprise her with a full rig all on the stand. Got her the 61 key mk2 for the stand and want to put her MK3 and laptop on 2nd tier on her stand. Above the keys. I just have no idea how to connect them both so thy sync up and work together, play nice together. Usually with maschine running hers in the back ground and myself running through logic. Can you point me in the right direction to a good tutorial on how to hook it up and settings so they play well together? If you have the time? Im still searching, and we arent as young anymore and this shit is getting way too advanced for my old xGen brain.
@DDS825 Studio One + ioStation 24c + Kontrol MK3, is my current go to setup . Between the Daw control with the ioStation + Daw/NI software control of the Kontrol MK3, I'm finding I'm hardly touching the mouse and keyboard anymore.
Im still zRocking My Machine Studio and Machine Jam, Im not upgrading unless they add some like the Machine Studio with MPE! I DO NOT do Standalone, Me, and My PC are One!
Welp The Maschine Mk3 doesn't have the Draw Backs of The Maschine+ So Mk3 always wins. Atleast I can use all the plugins I want And being Tethered to my laptop better than being tethered to a wall socket 😂
The only real difference is the computer in the plus. I’m not too familiar with akai’s line up. I may look into it. But, the Maschine workflow is still top tier to me.
@@DDS825 trust me I love the maschine mk3 and the work flow I just feel like when it comes to the updates there’s a lot of things we are still missing especially that 3.0 update smh
Actually the one that came out in 2037 is better than all of them. Nah actually 2045 version is better. It has the mind control / voice command ability so you can wash dishes & make beats at the same time
Yeah this is really the most straightforward comparison I have seen. Thanks!

The Mikro is a good place to start. The only thing you are missing is the screen and interface.
@@DDS825 Might actually go with the Plus if I ever have the extra money, I love the idea of being standalone
@@TheOnlyJay_S that definitely makes sense if you are looking to eventually move to standalone.
NI without screens is like a day without sunshine.
@@iwmaxx the screens are great for sure.
Well said, brother. I think the MK3 got this, hands down.
Appreciate you bro!

Mk3 all day. Im more in tuned at my desk. Plus I got mad vst’s.
I agree, it’s all about the vsts for me.
ii used to have the MK! like forever! this year I went to the MK3 and was like - what in the world was I THINKING!~ this is the winner
@@doommega Yes it is!
@@DDS825 Im still watching vids to understand things I didn't see in mk! Some of your vids in the playlist I check em out as much as I can - Bless up
Isnt the m+ an mk3 as soon as you plug it in a computer?
It’s the OG. I thought they may have done another studio. Being an audio interface is cool.
What would you like to see in a “hypothetical” new Maschine Studio? The MK3 is so good, I’m not sure what could top it from a hardware standpoint.
Is not possible to use Maschine+ with a computer as if it was a MK3?

Are you using the Maschine MK3 and the Komplete Kontrol MK2?
@@DDS825 yes. But she figure it out in 5 mins and made me look stupid. 😆Thanks man
@@simonsmith2642 😂 Aww man.
My vote goes to Machine MK3, but the best choice is the Kontrol MK3 with a real DAW, best experience by far.
I’ve been using the Kontrol MK3 with Logic a lot lately. I do miss the Maschine workflow.

Facts. Portable charger works though 😂
They messed up on not putting a Rechargeable Battery in it Like MPC Live 2 or Ableton Push3. @@DDS825
Its hard to beat a hybrid setup. Standalone is overrated in my opinion.
Yea, I somewhat agree with that.
There is nothing different between the two NI don’t have too many options when it comes to devices. Not like Akai
