Stunning results. Always appreciate your efforts you put in on saving EFs and taking us along on your journey. Hope your channel blows up soon! Keep up the great work.
Nice man! I've had a 91 CRX sitting for a few years now. Started a B16 swap but never finished. This series has given me motivation to start back up again. Great videos and keep it up!
Prayers answered when it came to color. Besides white, black are the only colors that don't make it look like plastic. I would love to see a wide body CRX. Would be tasty!
😎 Dude, love your content! Thank you sharing! Question for you. How are you planning to clean up the engine-trans aluminum parts to make them look new again? Or are you planing on painting them?
Hey Seth when you’re laying down pearl or metallic paint is there any tricks or tips you have for making sure it lays flat on the surface? I just resprayed Nighthawk Black Pearl on my front bumper and it looks good when I look straight at it, but when I stand to either side it looks a couple shades off.
I'm no expert. I've had to redo panels in the past because I left streaks. I just know that you want the last coat to be a further away "mist" coat done the same way on all the panels so it matches.
Curious what are the specs on your compressor? Looks small, but it handled the job, I'm restoring a Datsun 510 but I don't want to get a 60 gallon if and when I paint.
I just use a 33 gallon Craftsman. It’s adequate for these smaller jobs. A large car would probably pose an issue if you had a lot of clear coat to throw down.

Hey glass cleaner glad to see I'm not the only one I love using on all kinds of used always good results 🤙
That's what I am talking about, bro! 25° out and 72° in your garage! When I move back to IN from AZ, I will need to be on that plan! 😆
Gotta be ready for all weather here. 15 degrees in winter, 98 degrees in summer.
Awesome work!
There is a trick of using masking tape and folding it to reduce the spill of paint. Great job though none the less.
Yeah, I need to learn that. Hahaha.
@@crxseth you should. I know that paint is expensive.
Great job!👍👌👌👌
Damn you make me want to do my own paint when I get around to pulling the engine on my first gen Impreza

How are you planning to clean up the engine-trans aluminum parts to make them look new again? Or are you planing on painting them?
Degreaser, pressure washer, and some aluminum brightener acid.

What are you spraying on the primer to wipe it down before painting. It looks like glass cleaner?
It’s Sprayway glass cleaner. It was a Paint Society suggestion. He is an automotive painter on UA-cam.

@@crxseth thanks! I’m going try that on a practice part and adjust my settings accordingly. Keep up the awesome progress!!!

hey buddy do the tape trick on the paint cans so you don't make a mess
Yeah, I definitely need to look that up.
But your prep work is really good
It pays off to be OCD. I'm in the same boat as you.
Best thing to do to a brake booster is sand it and wrinkle black
I’ll probably do a semi-gloss or satin to try to match the OE finish.
@4:23
Sir good day may i know what kind of sealler did you used?
It was just Nason epoxy primer.
First comment!! love the content!
What what this will sell for
I do not know. I will have to judge how it comes out versus what the market looks like. I’m hoping around $8-9k.
@@crxseth I may add this to my collection of older Hondas 👍🏼.
