Stunning! Besides this and the carnation video do you have other flower/plant crochet tutorials? I’m looking for a variety and then I want to join them into a scarf or shawl. Thank you! You do beautiful work!!
Hello. Thanks a lot. I used to create a variety of fliwers, leaves n stems to make wreaths n bouquets. But that time I didn't use to record. Now I found people don't like them much as compared to other items.
Hey, not sure if you're still going to be updating this pattern with a new video. If you are, would it be possible to show you crocheting at least 1 entire pinna. The pattern isn't exactly the same on the other side (as it involves more slip stitches, and it would be good to know where to put them). I also found that 7 + 6 chains left an extremely large gap. So a little more info would be greatly appreciated. I would love to make the fern leaf as accurately as you :)
I desperately wanted to crochet ferns when I first started, I've come back after a while of learning all sorts of things, and I'm so happy that you made this video, it's the prettiest fern pattern in my personal opinion
I love your Carnation pattern. I made some for my granddaughters' headbands and also a bouquet for my vase. I will do this fern. I love this also. I subscribed to your channel and I am on the look out of your other tutorials/patterns. Your works are all real like and awesome. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Oh my goodness! This fern is absolutely gorgeous! You are so talented. I love doing flowers, succulents and now I want to try a fern! So thank you SO much for this video!
This this is one of my favorite plans every time I buy one I kill it not because I want to because I have a black thumb so if I make this plan by crocheting it and I succeed I am going to be a very happy woman I have three favorite plants one is a spider plant the other one I have no clue what the name of it it is but it's big long green leaves and a firm I love this idea that I could crochet my own plant that the cab will need it that I won't kill it that'll stay looking fresh forever I love this thank you for sharing
Thank you for the fern leaf video. I’m putting the leaf on a shawl for my new Gt grandson. Australian/ Kiwi. Can I get a printed copy as I know I will be doing more and I go a bit cross eyed watching the video. It’s only for personal use. Many thanks Linda 👵
Hey i loooove it 1 question between pinna is always 7ch? Love it, i will do it and tag you, i would like to see more realistc plants and flower, very talent!
Hello! I've finished the first side of the first pinnule, but I can't figure out how to start working down the second side? How do you ensure they stay attached to each other?
I’m having the same problem. My sides are separated. I think that I need to try to make the slip stitch attach to the center stalk. I am still experimenting to get them to attach.
@@MannyBlaaze I was able to slip stitch into the main stalk to keep everything together. It turned out beautifully! I want to incorporate a small green wire somehow to give the fern more shape for a planter pot. Best of luck to you!
Thank you for this video, the clear instructions and most of all, thank you for not wearing bright , distracting nail polish. It's beautiful!❤ Love from Texas
Do you have the pattern for this leaf I must have missed 7 chains somewhere? please and thank you for your beautiful tutorial do you always have to do 7 ch in between each pinna ?
hi. I'm not good at writing the patterns.. When u go towards tapering end of the leaf, no. of chains for the space between each pina will be decreased by 1.. eg. 6, 5, 4.... till 1 at the end(tip)
Luv yr video. I followed your work but some how my fern leaves are not joined up to the stem or do i use a neddle at the end to sew it together. Plz help!
While returning on the opposite side of frond, u have to work slip st. Into 7 chains (we had created for space between each pinna..) hope my comment will be helpful
Hi again i follwed yr video but some how my ferns have no stem. When i do the opposite side my ferns are seperate from the middle. Yr reply is important plz. Thank u

@@knittingknife You only show how to do half of the pinnae. How do you do the other side so that they're joined in the middle? Do you add more slip stitches? Thanks!
Mika, I messaged her and she was very helpful now I have figured it out. Try crocheting with 8 ply and a bigger hook to get a feel for the stitch. basically, you need to gather the stitch from the other side AND the looser stitch, then slip stitch through all 3 yarns on your hook. Then you can ch and sl as normal.
@@knittingknife This is exactly the question I have. The turn on the leaf is not shown clearly and the instructions on crocheting the top of the leaf doesn't explain how the fronds are attached to the leaf as you crochet back.
Ok. I’ve gave up. This pattern isn’t great. It’s very poor to follow, half finished. The first leaf you mentioned 4, but on the repeats you make no mention. You’ve rushed ahead and not thought about the end to end process and even so much showing it making it extremely difficult to follow.

Good morning
How can we make the opposite direction .
You do the same actions and stitches but in reverse (backwards).
Do you have a website?
I have a Facebook page only😍
Well I love your work. I don't have Facebook any more, but if I ever get back on there, I will look you up! =)
How to join pinnules?
+KAICHU CHAN Pinnules are not joined seperately but crocheted along.. please watch the full video attentively
