Definitely but like the girl said you have to be cautions going in the dark alone. Overall PH is very safe but theres always bad people on any country.

Seems the Philippines now able to capture a big chunk of young people as expats and tourists. More than s decade ago most of tourists visiting the country are older and retired expats. We can even see lots of tourists bringing with them their whole family from todlers to young teens.

Notice that the ones who appreciate the Philippines are those with happy disposition, positive attitude, very accepting and open, always smiling. Meanwhile, the grumpy guests are the ones who are arrogant, cocky and love to complain a lot.

Glitching right now. I'm just used to foreign men in the Philippines as historically, sailors and soldiers from Spanish to Americans times were men. The world must be changing if foreign women are now coming.

It's nice to see young tourists enjoying the country. Philippines is not only for retirees and passport bros, definitely. LoL. Their smiles are radiating good vibes.

I am a Filipino American and my grandfather emigrated from the PI to the U.S. in the 1920's when he was 16. I could barely be trusted to drive across town when I was 16. He was recruited to work the sugar plantations on Kaua'i (Hawai'i) and eventually made it to the mainland, just in time for the Depression in the 1930's. I have never wanted to visit the Philippines but your interviews, as well as others, has triggered that desire to visit. Also, the women you interviewed have a high level of global awareness, maturity, and openness that I wish I'd had at that age. Thank you for opening up our minds and helping us to put aside preconceived ideas of the world around us. As Americans (this one, anyway) our perception of Asia is probably skewed and hilariously biased. We should probably overcome that. Strong work, keep that up, it is deeply appreciated.

If they still have time they might consider visiting Ilo-Ilo coz from the last data gathered back in 2018 there's around 500 Swiss nationals living in that province. Even the Swiss female ambassador to the Philippines personally checked the island herself to see what attracts her countrymen to live there. If I'm not mistaken I think most of them are male retirees married to locals.

That trio was such a perfect representation of switzerland :D One looked very french, one very roman/ italian and the blonde blue eyes looked kind of swedish/ german but I have to note that they all had hue of french in their expressions maybe they are born in romandie/ welsch. :D
It´s very usefull to know that the women feel safe. Especially the two Germans. I am from Germany and I am well aware of how sensitive we are to that topic. Safety and children are literally our main concerns. We are a nagging culture but being outside of the country works wonders on anyones mentality. Glad to see that the women enjoy the beauty of the Philippines aswell.
As a man I will always get second thoughts about women going out alone at nighttime. It´s just me. I think it´s common sense to "pick your fights/ choose the stage". Makes no sense to hike the mountains during breeding season. Yes it´s special and against common sense but it´s equally "wild" to expect anything good from that.
A women going out alone is a red flag to me :D ( if there is a proper reason to do so then I am obviously not going to judge that) I prefer smart(vigilant) humans with strong surivial instincts.

I like how the lady with the red top answers the question, she dives deeper to the social issues, poverty, and equality. It is very true that we look up to and admire people with white or fair skin and i blame it to our colonial mentality.
