- This massive Record & Play "Let's Jam!" workstation by Vtech is packed with default features including keyboard. rhythms, fills, sound effects, melodies and instrument voices. The included microphone feeds back into the internal speaker nicely and has high/low/normal pitch effects. I was able to add a few photo cells and body contacts to place this thing whole instrument far away in outer space or deep underwater. These mico-resistor modern circuits are often more trouble than they are worth but this thing has such an elaborate interface and massive library of samples that it overcomes. The sonic quality is very good and the bends are stable twisted and slow. One more cool thing. The set-up here includes a simple plug and play type digital recorder that looks like a cheesy iPOD with a vtech logo. It plugs into the device and will record & playback your jam. I keep this funtional & have used it to transfer improvisations into Pro Tools. I installed 1/8" output and speaker cutoff.

yeahhhhh
I have a bunch of files on the fake iPod that I want to output, but the unit no longer powers up from batteries.
Do you have a suggestion for how to provide alternate power or get the files off some other way?
Thanks!
no
Do you have a suggestion for someone who would have a suggestion?
@@wrongbutton956 Yes.
YOOOOOOOO!
Thanks for Watching!
Any chance you'd be able to share where to find the pitch bend (or any other bends for that matter)? Just picked up one of these and haven't found anything but distortion after a few hours. Thanks in advance
Sounds like you found what I found. I did not find a pitch mod. It's just a few brass ball body contacts and a photocell. I might have an E capacitor in the mix too. At least that is what I remember. I haven't been in there in 11 years.
@@CircuitBendingFool Got it, thanks!
sure you can.
i would put on camptown races and move the speed up as fast as possible... then id jump on our couch and repeat!

Can that fake iPod thing's output wire connected to AUX and bend around the sounds coming from keyboards,iPods...etc?
Pot replacement for main tone resistor possible?
IDK
Will that fake iPod work without the keyboard like can you mod it to work as a stand alone recorder?
How did you modify it?
point to point
can you make a vid where you can pull out some pleasant musical applications of the bend?
nah
ew was this close to buying this for my son until I watched this
video.
what are you doing to this poor ting?..
Wtf
yes
Why did you circuit bend this toy? Sounds horrible - you should have left it as is. What a waste.
