ABSOLUTELY WELL DONE GUYS! I wish you had a buddy that plays D2 to be in the video with you. You guys did a good job of explaining the differences and you were very skilled in not saying one is better than the other. Well done.
Love the D3 content!!!!
Appreciate it bro! Gotta show some love!
Great video boys. Love the journey talk. Keep hustling and hope to hear your names in your respective ship weekends. Cheers.
Thank you guys for this vid!

NAIA is also a great option. I am currently a senior at Ottawa University. Great scholarships, provided gear and high level lacrosse!

Nova bro. My cousin went there but then died of adrenal cancer during his juniper year.
Awesome video. I go to Texas Tech, however, I wish I continued lacrosse through out college.
All good man! Maybe theres a club team you can play for! Texas Tech is probably an awesome school too
Great stuff. My son just got a D1 offer and he has a handful of top D2 offers. Is D2 the red headed stepchild? We live in SoCal and getting recruited from SoCal especially when football takes up so much time is a challenge. Especially with Covid. I like to know thoughts on top D2.
My dream school is to be an astronaut:)
Jesse James West 🚀🚀🚀
mine is a firefighter :) :p
That is an excellent choice
I always thought it was to not have tiny calves
@@ayesp6188 oh my god you know me so well!

2. University of Florida
3. University of Louisville
Lets goo! Nova #1!!
Really great video!
1.Villanova
2.don’t have any other school in mind
3. Except Villanova
This is fantastic. Our 12 year old lives and breathes lacrosse. Box and field both. Plays club for both. Obviously dreams of D1 like most young athletes do. That said he's seen Jesse play live, we live in NJ, and seen PSU play live as well. Me personally I love the balance of school and athletics at D3.
Going to a D3 school this fall to play wlax, super excited about it
One of the resources you might point people to is scholarshipstats.com. Site gives a pretty good breakdown by sports the number and types of scholarships. On the DIII side you might mention that while DIII does not give Athletic scholarship massive amount of money is available if one has great grades or is willing to put the time in to search for grants or other money. At the DI level you might mention that the 12.6 typically gets split among the number of players on the team. It's up to the coach as to the nature they want to give. Might be books, tuition, board, room or a combination. Very few if any will get a full ride.
Im going to villanova for a prospect day this weekend what up
Ucf is where I want to go do u have any tips on what to do to get there
What re all the schools up in the north east? Never thought of that
I’m gonna start a counter of how many times Stelios slaps his hands together when he talks
Harry Francisco Hahaahahaha it’s too many times
You mean how many times he claps
My dream school is Villanova. That’s the honest reason why I watch all your videos. I am a sophomore in high school and I have wanted to go to Villanova since I was 9 years old. What inspired me was when I first visited campus for my cousins graduation when I was in the 4th grade. It is my dream to go to Nova.
Brian Lane Lets goo! That’s awesome man I’m glad to hear that. Keep grinding and hopefully you’ll see yourself here in a few years! 🙌🏼💪🏼
D1:Penn State/Villanova (I live in state close to Villanova)
D2:University of Tampa

Hey what happened to your knee? Is it a very serious injury? Hope you’re okay!
Currently playing D3, looking to transfer D1
Yale or Georgetown
You’d have to be really good to transfer to Yale
Yale
How do you like D3?
Stelios, I am a ninth grader playing for its high school team. But my goal ever since I was little was to play D1. Any advice you can give me to get my name out there?
Regarding Point 4 - Scholarships. Kids - Work hard in high school and get good grades. You will find there are a lot of schools that will give you a merit scholarship, based solely on your academic record. The merit scholarship will often greatly exceed any athletic scholarship you might earn (or not earn). Whether or not the school offers merit scholarships, how much, and to whom is unique to each school. A lacrosse coach who is serious about you will let you know what the school's approach is to merit scholarships and will even go to admissions on your behalf to get a sense of the offer or even an actual commitment from the school to help you decide if that school is right for you. You don't need straights A's to get a merit scholarship, but you should be striving for that. The better your grades, the better the offer, not to mention you will need good grades to get into the academically competitive schools. And don't forget about MCLA -- the nation's national club lacrosse organization. The top 25 teams usually offer very competitive lacrosse and if you get yourself to Championship Weekend, you will find yourself on ESPN 3 with knowledgeable announcers calling out your name. MCLA is a great way to go to a school you want to go to and to keep playing competitive lacrosse at the club level instead of the varsity level (e.g. Indiana, Michigan State, UCLA, Arizona State, Texas). Good luck.
Could you do a video about d1 and d2
Don’t forget NAIA!!! #underrated
i want to play at vanderbilt or usc as the division 1 men’s lacrosse program grows
D 1: orange or nova
most likely going to ASU though
There are a few D3 coaches who want me to play for them and I know that D3 doesn’t give athletic scholarships, but is there any way I can get some financial aid due to the fact that the coach wants me to play for them? Maybe the coaches can sit down and talk to whoever takes care of financial aid and convince them to somewhat lower my tuition?
Yes you should apply for financial aid and see if you can get any academic scholarships as well
I’m NAIA which honestly is closer to D-II than D-III in NCAA. We went from September to November with Fall, 5 days a week, 3 days lifting, and then December alone was just conditioning and 3 days of lifting but we weren’t monitored for lifting at all. Then in Spring we would go from January 5 days a week of practice until games, and then practice when we don’t have games. Of course, didn’t finish our season which sucks cuz I was having a great year.
D1- nova, you got me into lacrosse
D2- lander
D3- whoever gives me a scholarship
LETS GO! Go cats!!
No D3 scholarships
d3 doesn't offer scholarships, I also recommend looking into NAIA programs. They play high-level competition at times and can offer a scholarship.
XxCAFxX they offer athletic scholarships?
@@iispwnge they don't offer Athletic scholarships, but they offer all kinds of other scholarships. I know lacrosse players that played D3 instead of D1 because it was cheaper, because of all the other scholarships they offer.
One of my boys had a full ride to Towson but for one reason or another ended up transferring to Salisbury. There are plenty of D1 guys who transfer to D2/3 schools. It’s no reflection upon them as players, it’s all about them as a person and what they’re looking to get out of life.
Agreed completely. Totally a personal decision at the end of the day!
Don’t want to be that guy but I’m pretty sure there’s 73 d1 teams
duke for hockey or lax
I wish there were D1 schools on the West Coast, I wouldn’t mind Denver but i’ll probably end up going to an mcla school

I don't know if there is a wrong/right answer. Personal preference, I suppose. There is no hard and fast answer to any of this, but I found their video to be a very good illustration of how this works.
Tons of talent in D3, especially in the Top 20 schools. Most of those players could run with many/most of the D1 schools.
One of the biggest differences I've found between the divisions is the --size-- of the players.
What are you and Jesse majoring in?
I want to end up playing for providence collage
D1 Maryland
D2 Le Moyne

For the minority, I played for a division 2 school and our schedule was about the same as the division 1 schedule. My team’s schedule was the same except we always had sundays off in all seasons. Also division 2 has less scholarships to offer compared to d1
Thanks for the insight on that! Definitely want to know some more about the D2 experience
I'm going D3 and I may have wanted to go D1 who knows
