The 26 cartridge capacity extension in black mated to a standard 17 round magazine makes a lot of sense, 43 shots, looking forward to your successful experimentation with spring length Lenny.

They're shipping sucks can you imagine paying almost 200 for one mag and it takes 2 months to get to you. To all newbies just get regular Glock mags they're perfect and cost less than 50

A plastic gun will blow up when not is fired. They are not fire arms and cannot be used with ammunition
As lenny says at the start you want to use a factory glock mag for everything,
unless it's a 43x or 48 then you need to use shields 15 mags for everything,

Nice concept, and I’m interested even after seeing the comments on how much it costs, but you never showed the 23/24 round mag in your pistol. You did show the 26/27, or 29/30, and they stuck out really far. I’d have loved to see how far the 23/24 round mag sticks out. Guess I’ll just use a tape measure and imagine where the mag might be.

Meanwhile, Shield Arms is getting 50% increase in the glock 43x mags.... for $40.... without adding length..... Wondering if/when they'll do the same thing with the Glock 19.... That'll be a game changer... these are grabbing all the money they can before someone else does the same thing at literally 1/3 the cost....

The increased capacity of a steel magazine makes you wonder why glock don't make some steel mags (plus steel mag catches to compliment the mags) for the carry market, I'm sure they'd be a bit with law enforcement that want a little extra capacity as well as people that carry in regular life

Lenny: Try that extra 33 round Spring that you took out of the 33 round mag and try that in the G17 mag and Extension or maybe a G19 mag + extension. With Glocks the possibilities are endless.

Do these magazines fit in the RIA 1911 9mm? It's my understanding the glock 17 and 19 magazines will fit. It's a double stack 22tcm/9 mm.
I have that 57 round rig for in my carry Glock 19. I am ready for anything but it sticks out just a little bit 😂😂😂

Tonight I attempted to load my 8 new Magpul PMAG Glock 17 magazines to prep for a trip to the range.
It seems as if these 17 round magazines are unable to hold more than either 3, 4 or 5 round before jamming.
I load as few as 6 rounds into some of them, some I loaded to 15 rounds, and after I cycle the first round out of the magazine, when I cycle the slide again, no other round chambers, and when I pull the magazine out, the next round is where you would expect it to be if a round were loaded in the magazine above it.
The round is flopping or loose and if I turn the magazine over, that round and the next few rounds fall out and there are only 2 or 3 rounds remaining deep inside the magazine, apparently jammed with the follower, and I have to slam the magazine to get them to come out.
It does not matter if I use a UpLULA® loader magazine loading assist tool or load them by hand, the outcome is the same.
Sometimes it’s every 2 or 3 rounds that I have to shake loose to pour them out before smacking the magazine to get them to pop up, only to have 1 round load and the next few fall out with everything jammed below them!
Needless to say, I want to return all 8 magazines as they do not function as a ammunition feeding device.
I did then think to try using Graphite on the interiors of the magazines, so tomorrow will lube one up and try loading it.
I do believe a magazine should run flawlessly dry with nothing to assist it working.
Glock factory mags work and are cheap and you are messing with that junk because?????

Now that the Ninth Circuit Court has overturned the large capacity ban in California, how soon can I buy one of these? What I'm mostly asking is, will the website be updated with the new law right away to purchase even a 13 round magazine without having to be law enforcement in CA?

Steel magazines WILL destroy Glocks plastic mag catch. If you're interested in purchasing add in the extra cost of a steel magazine catch to ensure reliability.
Who makes a steel mag release for Glock? I have searched and all I could find are made of either aluminum or polymer.

@@ChachinAKAChino I need one for G48/43X. I have the aluminum catch from Shield Arms now to work with their S15 mags. But i'd prefer the steel catch if one is available for these models. MBX offers steel catch for Gen1-3 and Gen4-5. I don't think one is available for the 48/43X.
We now have the Steel Magazine Catch for Glocks. They weren't here in time to be included in the video, but they are our Item #20035.

Lenny, love you man HOWEVER, after being on hold for 40mins I just got off the phone with Austin and I'm sad to say that the GlockStore has lost me as a customer. I had a small request to exchange a brand new in package never opened Extended Mag Release for a Glock 19 (Item: 1100-BLK-A10-GEN3) for Item: 1058-BLK-A10-GEN3 and was told no. I was willing to pay the difference and shipping. Small request. Was planning on buying a Pyramid trigger, and other products to help friends update their Glocks. Now I'm sad to say i won't be buying anything from the GS again. Its disheartening. I thought you guys stood by your product and took care of your customers. Really disappointing to find out that you don't.

Does Anyone make a Glock Mag with the two buttons on the sides to compress the spring down to make loading easier as some other manufacturers presently have?
Maybe look into an Uplula magazine loader to assist with loading? I believe it's in the 30 dollar range.
