I saw John Hogg's band Moke open for the Crowes in the late 90s and I've been a big fan ever since. Of course it's great to see Marc Ford, Sven and Rich here.
I agree, that shell of itself of a group now called The Black Crowes can't hold a candle to TMS. The/that 25th SYMM tour is a joke, just like Chris Robinson, and almost to the certain extent, his brother in cahoots-Rich.
Marc, Rich, and "the dinosaur" playing together again is magic....until the vocals come in...it literally makes me sad having seen this live with Chris so many times
Trying to be open-minded with the singer but he really doesn’t have any soul. He has the range but needs to learn how to get a little bit more angry in his singing.
So glad this music is being played live again! Can't wait for Chicago!
