This is so helpful. Meeting him was a complete surprise and I wasn’t expecting the level of romance he immediately brought to our interactions, but he’s definitely avoidant bc of past trauma. We’re at a distance now and a few times now, he has completely dropped communication, and then he comes back super sweet. He said he was going to call last weekend and didn’t, and I haven’t heard from him since then. I haven’t reached out. Just giving him space for his process. I don’t think he is my forever person, but I feel there is something important and healing here. This is literally what's happening to me right now. This person you're describing is my partner, and he is also the masculine you've been describing in your past few messages. We've been together almost a year, and at the end of August he's supposed to be coming back to the metro area we live in after being away for quite a while. As I've said before so many times, this is incredibly spot on. And what's crazy is I did have to distance myself, for all the reasons you've been talking about. And just when I questioned wether I was doing the right thing as well as feeling bad for them, by distancing. Good timing! I was thinking of another way to reach out a 2nd time. It's weird. In the past, confirmations like this wouldn't be enough to ease my anxiety. I have healed a lot. And i am surprised. I am currently at a level of peace that i don't believe, and on top of that, how patient i have I become. I feel that despite everything, i will be ok. My intuition has been sending me sirens and before I could take the next step in the relationship I spent a good couple days in deep thought, writing and asking for signs if I should.
