Growing up in this world men have often been told to not show their emotions, to hide them as it makes them look weak otherwise. Well ive just watched a video of a man being so brave onstage bearing his soul out and your there feeling it with him every step of the way. This is real strength, this is bravery and im here with you every step of the way.

My dad passed away last October, from cancer. I was just talking to my mum today, she's in Spain, I live in Australia, trying to make her understand than grieving is a normal process that we have to go through. In my culture, we can't really talk about pain and hurt, and grief has to be dealt silently, because you have t obe strong and tough and all that bs, to the point that your family will tell you not to cry or won't talk about anything that will bring the pain to the surface.
Well; I told her the only way to overcome pain is by feeling it and going through it, and only brave people can do it, because knowingly you have to expose yourself to songs, pictures, or conversations that you know are going to be painful, but the whole point of it, is healing. As Sam did singing it, and as we do by crying with it. Never apologise for your onions and your real feelings and emotions.

Ah so sorry Joe E, rough one for you no doubt, it was beautiful, raw and painful tribute, I have no idea how he got through it was an amazing night and no small thing to get 5000 people silent for a performance, so moving, there wasn't a sound until just one point but pretty much a pin could drop and you'd have heard it. Idk how long you lost your father I lost mine 8/5/2020 the day before his birthday and my life has been so hard and the day after he died I had to go do 10 months in jail so I'm still trying to figure out how to live with out my best friend teacher and confidant of my life it don't get easier we have to just deal and talk to them my brother I don't know you but from one man to another brother here always we are brothers under God's eyes love ya
