Christianity bears all the hallmarks of a scam. i.e. 1) There's a huge prize on offer. In this case it's the biggest prize imaginable i.e. eternal bliss. In addition, all the bad stuff you've ever done gets wiped out as if it never happened (and the same for any bad stuff you might do in the future). No need to make amends. 2) There's a big penalty for not complying. In this case, the biggest penalty imaginable: Hell (or at the very least, annihilation). 3) The thing you have to do is very simple. In this case, just believe Jesus died for your sins. 4) You have to have faith the whole thing is genuine and must not have any doubts. 5) The whole thing is just too good to be true.
