Got my Pxg driver the x along with woods and irons Its longer than my old m3 especially on Misshits The hype is real i have to say 1st 3 rounds with them have been 39,36,39 stableford points thats amazing considering i have been playing poorly previous most rounds in the 20,s Swing has not changed but results have i have put some horrendously bad shots on the clubs and while not fantastic result obviously they were still in play A good example is our 8th hole a par 3 i took my 5 hybrid and hit what felt like a utterly abysmal shot losing sight of the ball After everyone had teed off i headed for where that swing with my m2 hybrid would have put me 10 metres right of the green in the long rough maybe a lost ball My playing partners were where are you going? It's on the green! I walked up and there it is just hanging onto the right side... I am shocked and amazed that ball had no right to be there after that swing i thought i was going to have a out and turned it into a par Irons are also very good i got the xf gen 2 swapping from the p790 In my experience so far the look is as good ss the p790 which is a sexy club to look at The feel is way way better Distance control is also better Overall distance is similar as they are both foam fill powerbats I can pull my irons now and go for a distance where the p790 were not nearly as consistent I think because the Pxg irons are more forgiving across the face as i am not the best ball striker lol Are they expensive yes indeed Worth it to me absolutely Others have to make thier own minds up
Similar results for me, first 2 medals 38 and 40 points. Driver just goes and sounds and feels great. Also went from p790 to gen2 xf. Much better dispersion and feel. Felt the p790 irons were jumpy and would go further than I wanted
Just bought the XF , I want the forgiveness, gonna get a 3 hybrid and a 5 wood , I haven't got it yet waiting for PXG to ship everyone raves about these.... 🔥🔥 You were striping those and that sound is incredible WOW
I have been gaming the PXG 0311 XF GEN2 for a month and I am really impressed, with the sound, feel, distance and forgiveness on mishits. But the most notable thing is the build quality and quality of finish. With most drivers these days after a few rounds they start to look scuffed after a few rounds. But the PXG still looks immaculate. Conclusion, yes they are a little pricey still, but you are definitely getting value for money.
I was very surprised that the dispersion was better with the X than the XF . This is probably the best I've seen you hit a driver maybe not the longest you've hit but definitely the best overall.....

Do you think the XF version would be good for a slow swing player if they chose a higher loft in that driver? Is the spin rate high enough for a slow swing senior?
Great review the X low spin seemed to suit you perfectly. Great distance and dispersion and noise of head very pleasing.

0811X, 9* with weights forward = low spin; 0811XF, 10.5* loft turned down to 9*, weight back = high spin.
