Thanks again Mary.. Other then my electric bill doubling every penny was well spent.. I absolutely love this hobby just about the same as my bbq.. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
Ya I had some of those lights when was running the fish/shrimp tanks and noticed jump in power bill. If can go with led do it bro. Will last 100x longer and a fraction of energy use.
Thats some big-time stuff Joe. I knew your bill would rise. I know back in the day the Law would look for just such a thing, then take a closer look. lol..... love following you on this journey,.
Thank you Tommy.. I'm going to switch to LEDs soon. I can't wait to show you what all I'm going to do with these peppers. Absolutely sauces and powders but also chocolate bars, suckers, rock candy and more.. Might even consider making pepper spray too. I'm glad you're enjoying it brother.. It take just about all of my spare time between bbq and growing. I'll get caught up on your videos as soon as I can.. Appreciate the continued support and have a great day.
Hey Joe, I just subscribed to your channel. Nothing wrong with growing peppers or BBQ food, I love those both. You have a nice setup. I like using sturdy totes and Rubbermaid trash cans for growing peppers using the Kratky method of hydroponics.
Those are looking really good and healthy. When I saw you had some of Khang’s peppers, I was expecting to see the StarrRacha Hornets too. Keep up the good work brother.
I completely forgot about the StarrRacha Hornets..! Thanks for the reminder.. I'll try to get my hands on some. I appreciate the kind words and thanks for watching..
Those look great, makes me b#$%hole sweat just looking at those. FYI I'm a contractor for a living and been switching some florescent bulbs to LED and just saw 2 weeks ago reading on bulbs. Now some bulbs will operate with both a ballast or with out, this was new to me, it used to be one or the other. I would research the difference in power consumption, both ways, with and without a ballast. Just some new info.
Yes I did tons of research on both types and the ballast compatible will use more energy vs using the non compatible style. I'm not sure exactly how much more energy they use but I'm working on it. My electric bill really sucks right now lol. Thanks for watching.
Looking good! You will run out of space with those peppers, they are going to be huge. Are you going to go with more 250w LED's or go to something like spiderfarmer sf2000 at 200w with a bigger light footprint?
I was going to get ballast compatible leds bars that will fit these fixtures.. I have one empty dwc and a duplicate that I'm use for the new plants. I'll do a updated video once I get everything situated. Thanks for watching..
Badass

Yes leds is the way to go.. They was out of stock with the option of leds or I would've bought them.

Thank you Sandy. I really appreciate the kind words. Lots of money and time spent on this project. Thanks for watching..
Leaf curl will likely be environmental. It could be from the fan near it or it may be more sensitive to fluctuations in day and night temperatures.
