You do it so much better than the other video I just watched. Now I can see exactly what to do with the loop. And I didn't know I was supposed to fold the material. Thanks for clearing some things up.
💖ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS LAYERED HEART WREATH ! THIS WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT MOTHERS DAY GIFT 👩🏼BEAUTIFUL COLOR CHOICE ! MY FAVORITE COLOR IS BLUE AND HOW THE BLUE POPS OUT ! I JUST WENT TO WALLY WORLD TONIGHT AND IN THE BACK WHERE ALL THE CLEARANCE WAS I FOUND THE EASTER FAT QUARTERS OF FABRIC THAT ARE ROLLED FOR 50 CENTS SO I GRABBED WHAT WAS THERE ! THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING AND FOR YOUR TIME 💖
Amber, i agree with you dear. I'll hang a wreath anywhere i want to. This is such a cute wreath I'm definitely going to pick up the supplies from Wal-Mart tomorrow since I'm already going there to shop. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas I've loved them all. Happy crafting from Debbie in Zanesville, Ohio. 👍🌸🌷🌼
I just love your videos! You do so much better at explaining what you are doing than a lot of others. This is perfect timing too, because I was searching for how it's on rag wreaths this morning.
This is a very cute project! I love the colors. I think the only rag project that I have done, was a rug. I think people do rag quilts, also? I like the raggedy look from tearing the strips. Now I would like to do denim, but that would be rough on my hands. I guess I could cut strips and then put them in a laundry bag and wash them? Got any suggestions? Thanks for continuing to inspire us! 😊
I'm definately gonna make a few of these. I'm thinking patriotic also one for my bathroom one for my bedroom. They would make excellent gifts looks so easy to do also. Ty ty I love love watching your channel.
Love it....made one last year, round....all the same color....sorta blah....gonna make another one with more colors...love the heart....thx for the idea!!! Congrats on the Hurricanes!!!!
I made this wreath using an 8" wreath form using the same measurements for the cloth. Came out adorable and not as small as you would think. I also made another using an 8" form only this time I didn't fold strips in half but did attach them the same way to the form. This gave the wreath a less structured look and really captured that rag look. I also really packed the strips on the form.
That is absolutely gorgeous. I like wreaths inside too. Even on my door, I put it inside facing out. I have a wreath form, now to find some summer fabric. I don't think the heart forms are only for Valentine's Day. Well I hope not anyway. LOL
Thank you so much for both the easiest and prettiest tutorial! I made a 'Parisien' patterned, (Walmart) wreath with multi pink and Grey colors and had received many compliments over the years: but forgot the instructions until I found your website. - I hung it with a beautiful grosgrain ribbon that I had in my 'stash'. NanaAnn
Adorable! I have quilting scraps that Im going to do one with. It will match the quilt on my bed!!!! I made the heart wreath a while back in pink tulle netting cut in strips for a baby shower. It was really fluffy and cute. I think ribbon scraps in varying widths would be really cute too.
Now I know how I'm doing my halloween and Christmas wreaths when I don't have deco mesh!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! 🥰 you don't know how helpful this is and how long I've been looking for an easy approach to rag wreaths! Thanks again!! 🥰
Oh my gosh, I can't wait to do this. I think I'm going to try a 4th of July wreath and try to find some "America" themed bundles! I'm feeling so inspired lol.
I love this and I agree with you. I prefer to hang my wreaths inside that way I can enjoy them. Don’t get me wrong I do have some that I do fix for outside but then the only time see them is when I come home.
I made one last year with Nightmare Before Christmas fabric and some purple glittery Halloween fabric. This year going to take the scraps and some macramé rings and make ornaments for the kids.
Hi Amber! Do I love this wreath OR WHAT! Amber have you seen the flamingo scarves at DT? Is there any way to make a wreath with these scarves where the flamingos actually show? If you know how would you teach us - pleeeeease😁 If that’s impossible could you come up with another craft using a scarf where the focal point is easily seen? Thanks for aaaaall you do to help us. Now that I know how to make a rag wreath....I’m off to Walmart ❤️
love the fat quarters fabric with the butterfly on it really cute think I can buy extra fabric that will be a really cute baby quilt lol thank you for the video I hang wreaths inside my house also depending of what it is made of it the weather is going to hurt it then it goes inside don't care what anyone says either lol
I love it! So pretty, simple but makes a statement with all the beautiful colors. Now I know how much fabric I’ll need. I guess the best material would be cotton. Ooooo I could do one in tulle. :-D.
Thank you for sharing this video. I love this idea can't wait to make one. I'm going to make me a shabby cheek for my home.. Thank you again for another great video ♡♡
