Their vocals really improved ALOT. I honestly wish they’d be more famous. But a lot of people has prejudice about them because they came from Idol School. They’re hardworking girls and they deserve the spotlight too.
I know damm well those ppl that didn't give a cent for them after idol school are eating their words right now. Our 9 girls are really talented with their unique charms and so well deserve debut. So proud of fromis_9.

Nakyung improved her vocal so much. She sounds like a main vocal. I listened to the side tracks of this album and her voice is really exceptional. She got some nice parts in Airplane Mode and Promise.
from their first album, it’s seemed to me like these girls had something special. they take music assignments that are cute and upbeat, and make them into something sentimental and heartbreaking with their vocals. it’s not just skill or talent bc they have made huge improvements from the beginning, and i still felt this way back then. it’s like the blend of their vocal characteristics, and their ability to understand their place in the group dynamic. some of them sing soft and breathy like a distant voice on a dry breeze. some of them sing snappy and bouncy and elastic. some of them sing like it is an involuntary cry. some of them sing like they will break in half from the emotion. and they all sound like they thoroughly understand what they contribute to the soundscape of their songs. i’m dead serious about this. even excluding their charisma, their lovable faces, and the dynamic way they approach their catchy choreography. even when they stand still, even when they sing without music, even if i close my eyes, it feels like a piece of their soul makes its way into recordings of their singing. or maybe thats just a sign of me being way too attached lol. in any case, they’ve only gotten better through the years. regardless of the stresses they’re under, these ladies always understand the assignment every single time, and they always work hard to surpass the requirements placed on them.
I'm really proud for gyuri, I still remember the time when she appears on produce 48 and people keep on hating her because she's already a part of fromis_9 and yet she still appear on PD48. And after a few ep when she decided to tell her reasons why she joined PD48 that's when I became a fan
