- Walking around JCPenney at the Orlando Fashion Square mall in Florida. Today we are visiting the JCPenney store at the Orlando Fashion Square mall because this store is closing very soon, probably in mid-September. In fact JCPenney is permanently closing 163 stores as part of its bankruptcy plan. JCPenney opened it's first store 118 years ago on April 14, 1902, and is still in operation today in Wyoming. That store will be auctioned off in mid-September and liquidated shortly thereafter. JCPenney filed for bankruptcy on May 15, 2020. Today we will be walking the whole store, all 2-stories of it. If you enjoy this video and want to see more like it, please let me know in the comments below and give it a big thumbs up. This helps me a lot, thanks.
Thank you for this video it is great. As Fashion Square's GM, we will miss our community and our loyal shoppers that have shopped with us at our Fashion Square location. I enjoy visiting with each of you and hearing your memories of shopping with us. Thank you for bringing us into your homes.
I've been shopping at jcpenney for years and I must say they have the best customer service rep I have ever come across hands down. On the phone or in person am currently vacationing in Orlando and you guess right am shopping at jcpenney in Florida mall 🤦🏾♀️ Sending shout-out to Victor he was very helpful yesterday.
The elevator has a annoying sound when it opened on the 2nd floor
My local Penney's is closing, too =/ I bet the sales are great, though.👍
I grew up with this mall. I graduated from high school in 2012. My mom frequented this store when I was a kid
We moved here in late 2011. It was a dead mall then and only gotten worse -- if that's possible. I haven't been there in awhile.
My Local JCPenney Already Closed
They Will Probably Close All Of Their Stores :(
I think so. I used to love J.C.P., but that was long ago. Sadly, I think their ship has sailed.
Great video man. This store closing really sucks. It was a nice location.
Thanks Andrew. JCPenney was great years ago. I will miss that JCPenney. Their business really doesn't make any sense today imho. Their departure will definitely leave a hole in that mall however.
Orlando Streets: for sure, leaving only one full anchor store left, and half of another. Let’s just hope Macy’s doesn’t depart from this mall as well. But I think Dillards will probably make it, since their clearance center model is working decent there
R.I.P JCPENNEY AT ORLANDO FASHION SQUARE MALL IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA
We got a similar store in my country labeled "Felix" its luxurious
Thanks fo sharing.
I won't be surprised if this mall's Macy's, Penney's at West Oaks, or Dillard's Clearance at both of them eventually close! Most people go to Orlando to visit the theme parks instead of malls! Also, one of the songs that's playing is Watermelon Sugar by Harry Styles, which is one of my faves!
I think you're right. Simon, the largest mall operator in America, is trying to buy Penney's and possibly turn it into an Amazon distribution center. The malls are changing.
Oh great!, we even lost a Monty vector!, there’s another one!
I can see why they are going out of business, that place hasn't changed since i went in the 90's! Someone should have told them that fashion changes
Their clothes are overpriced and they haven't competed in years. Same for Sears. Macy's is struggling as well.
@14:00 "success starts here" oh this is just sad :-(
West Oaks Mall put's a lot of that stuff up too. It's another dead mall :(.
I really want to go inside this store. Management at this mall has got it locked down pretty good. You can’t see in from the outside because of the rolling doors and tarps have been hung at the mall entrances.
i saw a fake sign says closing but is not 0:44
It it closed. Not fake. stores.jcpenney.com/fl/orlando/clothing-stores-orlando-fl-0709.html
