"Layla" is not an Eric Clapton song, is a song by "Derek and the Dominos", and it's not from the album "Eric Clapton", it's from the album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs". And Duane Allman came up with the Layla signature riff, not Eric Clapton.
I'll just leave that here so people can see it.
@@charlie172011 I thought I was the only one who noticed that
Comfortably Numb?????????
You could literally have all Zeppelin riffs and you couldnt argue about it!!
Kashmir was def not the one to use though
Jimmy page is a god
@@AndrewHarshy agreed, if I had to I'd probably choose The Rover, kind of a deep cut but I love that riff to pieces. Either that or In My Time of Dying
70`s - Best time in Rock History
No that actually is the 80s
@@slashsnake3544, I disagree
Slash Snake wrong
I'm not wrong guys
80's is more pop and melodic, 70's are more original and skill of naturalist mind sound and experiment, the 70's are the perfection of rock and rock, the 80's are more pop and metal
1.Layla
2.Aint Talkin' Bout Love
3.Carry on my wayward son
They are best Bro!
Layla will always be no. 1
Kashmir is 1
"Layla" is not an Eric Clapton song, is a song by "Derek and the Dominos", and it's not from the album "Eric Clapton", it's from the album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs". And Duane Allman came up with the Layla signature riff, not Eric Clapton.

Into the void is best from 80s
Not enough Sabbath... or AC/DC... or Led Zepplin... Damn this decade was good
...or Deep Purple...
Or Deep Sabbath...
Valentin S. He most likely did not want to have bands showing multiple times.
SaaS or Black purple... wait what
Agreed
Iron Man, Smoke on the Water, Walk This Way, Black Dog, Highway to Hell and Sweet Home Alabama are some other good ones as well. Good list though!
5:08 FINALLY SOMEONE RECOGNIZING THIS AMAZING RIFF
I really thought the whole video would be just Jimmy page riffs 😂
shouldve been

it could have been
@@charlie172011 yes, finally who give their decent recognition to Duane Allman
I hoped it, but It wasn't ahahah
Basically, you just played riff from Blackmore, Iomi, Clapton, Page, Young, May...Damned that was probably one of the best guitar decade !
Squall895 Van Halen?
@@jaimelannister1797
Van Halen is more 80s
@@latos0235 the 80s kinda started with van Halen in 1978.
For 80s riffs:
"Crazy Train" - Ozzy Osbourne, 1980
"For Those About to Rock" - AC/DC, 1981
"Run to the Hills" - Iron Maiden, 1982
"Holy Diver" - Dio, 1983
"Hot for Teacher" - Van Halen, 1984
"Money for Nothing" - Dire Straits, 1985
"Master of Puppets" - Metallica, 1986
"Raining Blood" - Slayer, 1986
"Sweet Child of Mine" - Guns n Roses, 1987
"Mother" - Danzig, 1988
For 90s riffs:
"Thunderstruck" - AC/DC, 1990
"Enter Sandman" - Metallica, 1991
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" - Nirvana, 1991
"Killing in the Name" - Rage Against the Machine, 1992
"Unsung" - Helmet, 1992
"Cherub Rock" - Smashing Pumpkins, 1993
"I'm Broken" - Pantera, 1994
"Beautiful People" - Marilyn Manson, 1996
"Beautiful Disaster" - 311, 1997
"Heavy" - Collective Soul, 1999
I tried to cover as many years as I could.
Alive by Pearl Jam could be added at the 90s aswell.
Also One Vision by Queen had a pretty good riff in there at the beginning
amazing!
Colton Riffle id put shine over heavy for collective soul
Nah 70’s or 90’s was the peak of rock 80’s was to produced and poppy while 90’s and 70’s just destroy the 80’s
I wasn't ready for Carry on my Wayward son... Not ready at all....
Loads of acdc riffs get claimed on youtube, even if you just play them. Good luck, hope this stays up!
Burn and Kashmir always my fav!
Wasn't expecting Master of the Void. Thought he would've picked something off of Paranoid
How many Gibsons do you have and how did you afford them? 😅
In the words of a wise man in a Stevie T video comment section:
ILLUGUITARI CONFIRMED
@@divyamgautam1407 lame joke man..
He probably doesn't spend his money on anything else. Like video games, TV's, cell phones, girlfriends, cars etc. Most people just waste their money and don't know how to save.
Hey guys, so also this video was already demonetized 😩

At 4:27 YOUR TNT OI OI OI! AC/DC is my band they are my heroes! And I love the fact you also played Black Sabbath’s into the void! Also you forgot highway to hell released in 1979!
Oh I did not forgot about it, I spent like 20 minutes deciding whether to play TNT or Highway To Hell 😂 Unfortunately I had to make a choice!
Couldn’t you do both?
Danilo Vicari I think Highway to Hell would of been more fitting.
Walters agreed but he did good!
@@YourFellowRNRSisterFan98 he probably wanted one song for each band
Ain't Talkin' Bout Love is one of the best riffs ever, I would've loved something from Kiss but this decade has a lot to cover, the best one of all
Yo. That 4 part vocal line was bonkers. Great work.
Sail Away by DP is very... very blyat underrated riff and song
I would say pizdets kakoi underrated
Ohuennuy conversation, gentlemen.
@@badcovers3711 ahah, hello comrades
I just wanna say thank you. You have inspired me to start playing the guitar. 👍🏻
Amazing video
Really like the riff selection, great job :)
I’m surprised to not see Aerosmith on this list! They had tons of great hits in the 70s! Uncle Salty, Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion, Same Old Song and Dance, and Dream On just to Name a few.
Aerosmith sucks tho
Ashok Singh They suck? Have you lived under a rock for most of your life? Aerosmith are one of the greatest bands ever to hit the scene of rock and roll! They created many hits over the years from Albums like Toys in the Attic to Draw the Line and many more! And they’re still touring and creating today! That’s a legacy of rock awesomeness!
The Creative Nerd they ripped off Zeppelin , that's all they did
Ashok Singh by that logic, Zeppelin ripped off from the Stones. Aerosmith is its own beast, even taking inspiration from the Stones as part of their work.
You have not listened to enough Zeppelin then
Super Daniii💪🏻🤘🏻👏🏻
Really glad to see an AC/DC riff here, they don’t always get much recognition in these types of videos!
Carry on was so cool! Never knew it was quadruple tracked! Good video
4:29 I was litteraly shouting "Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi!" alone behind my screen
Great video and great riffs picked!
You might be the best player on UA-cam. You understand guitar tone, well done brother.
Bel video e eseguito alla perfezione
Grande! Dieci riff uno più cazzuto dell'altro...bravo Danilo
Ti ringrazio!
Sei un grande!!! Burn era perfetta!!!
P.S potresti fare Top 10 Dream Theater Riffs?
God the SG tone is so great
SUPER
Finally somebody knows how to play la grange
whoa!!! You speak FAST
Yesss!!! Thanks for including Into The Void since you snubbed it from Top 10 Sabbath riffs
Grande Dani! E finalmente c'è pure Clapton/Allman... :)
Bands like these will never come out again man. Couldn't stop headbanging. Hi from Greece nice covers. I was jamming TNT on my SG yesterday btw nice. What PRS model is that?
Cool looking one :)
Ciao Danilo, sei veramente incredibile! Your videos give me energy after a hard day at work! Thanks mate! Keep doing what you're doing!
Thank you mate! I rally appreciate your words!
Great job perfect
Literally opened this video to check if you had added Kashmir in the list or not. Safe to say, I'm very happy with the list.
Super video Danilo 👍🤟
more please :D i thoroughly enjoy all of your videos!
FIGO COME SEMPRE
That intro is so self-absorbed
I love this
2.200 views 240+ likes zero disslikes! Great job!!
1975 the riffs are so nice you will put in another for no price
Have you heard band called Judas Priest? RIFFS = Judas Priest
1. Dissident Aggressor
2. Victim of Changes
3. Stained class
4. Heroes End
5. Hell bent for leather
6. Running wild
7. Delivering the goods
8. Sinner
I've never heard any of those songs on the radio or walking around in public, so no. Maybe Livin' After Midnight since it was popular and has such a great sounding riff, but popularity is the most important thing in these videos.
Ахуээээннооо!! Заебок !! Красава!!💪💪💪👍👍👍👍
You just impress the hell outta me very talented!!
Grande che hai messo anche i Queen ti stimo un botto
WOW - finally - no DISLIKE - keep em coming man - Love from Romania!
Al brano dei Kansas mi è subito venuto in mente supernatural😂
Great list. You could fill an entire video with just Tony Iommi riffs
My favorites from the same artists:
Layla stays.
A National Acrobat, but Into The Void is close and i'm glad you chose it over Paranoid or Iron Man.
In The Flesh.
La Grange can stay
Lazy. Burn is great too
The Rover or No Quarter
Let There Be Rock
Stone Cold Crazy
Carry On Wayward Son can stay. I gotta get more into Kansas
Runnin With The Devil (You Really Got Me is a cover)
Dude, listen to Somewhere From Elsewhere, LOVE that album. Power is another great one too. Their whole discography is great. Look up the user "Dakota Badger" on Spotify and check out the Kansas playlist, those are my favorite Kansas songs and they're a great starting point.
Good choice
Me encanta la intro
Great stuff, Danilo, thanks for that. Of course, Top-10 of anything is all a matter of opinion as we were spoiled for choice in the '70s. Indeed, I'm sure that no two fans in the world would have the same top10 list of '70s guitar riffs. By the way, I wouldn't quibble at all with Black Sabbath's Into the Void. But wasn't that just the intro that you played there? I was hoping that you would kick in to the real riff after a few bars. But I'm no musician, so what do I know.
Thank you for ain't talking bout love! That riff literally made me pick up guitar
sono il solo americano che capsice cosa dice danilo vicari nel intro? XDXD grazie per un video fatto bene
No hotel California but yet great times the 70 was the best
Layla wasn't on Clapton's self titled album, it was on Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek and the Dominos
Until now we dont have any dislike in the video, well done
Boston and Blue Oyster Cult...
Into the Void ❤️❤️❤️
Great list. I would put Rainbow here too.
Great list but where is Aerosmith's Sweet Emotion?!
Walk This Way
He also for for Hotel California, Life In The Fast Lane, Funk #49, and Life's Been Good.
That's more of a bass thing.
The Void and the Burn sound like 80's metal.
Boston should be in there somewhere.
I’d love if you re-released guitar solos of the 70s with tabs for us patheoners:) it’s an awesome clip and I watch it daily
It’d be interesting to see a Best Riffs of the ‘60s
Guys, what about top ten pink floyd riffs or top ten pantera or top ten dream theater riffs
Hai dimenticato Smoke on the Water!!!!!! Per il resto sei bravissimo
Danilo, dove hai preso la tracolla che usi per la Les Paul?
🤘🤘🤘
yes! kashmir is in the list!
im so happy.
every vh1 riff
I'm so glad Into the void is here
Really good choices that are not scom or teen spirit
MORE deep purple
I swear that this guy only has the nice guitars like Gibson and fender but just in different colors...
Awesome choices! But one question... how do you change your guitars so quickly without missing a beat?
it's all edited together
Tyler Ranno OK, thanks. The wonders of technology nowadays.
soundgarden riffs please🤗
Really nice selection, though I wouldnt have been upset to see Boston's Piece of Mind riff in here, something about that song screams 70's guitar to me... great job though =)
Buuuuuuurn!!!!!
"Layla" is not an Eric Clapton song, is a song by "Derek and the Dominos", and it's not from the album "Eric Clapton", it's from the album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs". And Duane Allman came up with the Layla signature riff, not Eric Clapton.
BLACK SABBATH!!!
Top 10 rolling stones Riffs!!
1000th like!
Black Dog has entered the chat
that les paul😫😫😫
No Rainbow my man?
What happened with that La Grange section?
Whats the name of the intro riff or is it just an improv?
Where does the solo come from at 5:40 ?😱
90s should be
Say It Ain’t So by Weezer
46 & 2 by Tool
Bombtrack by Rage Against the Machine
Muscle Museum by Muse
Walk by Pantera
Paranoid Android by Radiohead
Poppies by Marcy Playground
Come as You Are by Nirvana
Song 2 by Blur
Feel the Pain by Dinosaur Jr.
Money is more of a Bass Riff since Roger Waters technically wrote it. It's hard to choose Pink Floyd's best guitar riff in the 70s though, but if I had to I'd choose the closing riff to Sheep.
