This is very special. Please can you show an EMDR video of treating someone with childhood abuse and/or domestic violence? The reason I am requesting this is because those of us who have been through heavier traumas that were constant may not think EMDR therapy can heal us too. Not saying this woman’s trauma is less than, but just not as relatable. Thank you.

Dr amen is great but they don’t except insurance sadly so many people need dr amen so I pray in Jesus name you open up for all so we can all be healed many cant afford the service freely Give as God gave his son
What if your only remember things in thoughts and emotionally. Meaning you can't see your memories. Like having partial or full Severely Deficient Autobiographical Memory. Does the trauma still get trapped in your brain.
I have the exact question. What do you do then?
It is still stored in the brain/body, and can still mostly likely be successfully treated with EMDR. If you are in touch with the emotions that arise, and where in your body you experience them, that will be enough to work with in EMDR. Detailed memory is not necessary. ☮️
Does EMDR work for people with no minds eye ?
Yes, have the therapist focus on the physical sensations or other senses that are accessible. 😊
