یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡ رَیۡبٍ مِّنَ الۡبَعۡثِ فَاِنَّا خَلَقۡنٰکُمۡ مِّنۡ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنۡ نُّطۡفَۃٍ ثُمَّ مِنۡ عَلَقَۃٍ ثُمَّ مِنۡ مُّضۡغَۃٍ مُّخَلَّقَۃٍ وَّ غَیۡرِ مُخَلَّقَۃٍ لِّنُبَیِّنَ لَکُمۡ ؕ وَ نُقِرُّ فِی الۡاَرۡحَامِ مَا نَشَآءُ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ثُمَّ نُخۡرِجُکُمۡ طِفۡلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبۡلُغُوۡۤا اَشُدَّکُمۡ ۚ وَ مِنۡکُمۡ مَّنۡ یُّتَوَفّٰی وَ مِنۡکُمۡ مَّنۡ یُّرَدُّ اِلٰۤی اَرۡذَلِ الۡعُمُرِ لِکَیۡلَا یَعۡلَمَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ عِلۡمٍ شَیۡئًا ؕ وَ تَرَی الۡاَرۡضَ ہَامِدَۃً فَاِذَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡہَا الۡمَآءَ اہۡتَزَّتۡ وَ رَبَتۡ وَ اَنۡۢبَتَتۡ مِنۡ کُلِّ زَوۡجٍۭ بَہِیۡجٍ ﴿۵﴾ O people! If you are in doubt about being raised up (after death), then (contemplate your creation and evolution). We initiated your creation (i.e., chemical genesis) from (the extract of) clay,* then (your biological genesis) from a sperm drop (zygote), then from a hanging mass (clinging to the uterus like a leech-embryo) and then from a lump of flesh looking chewed, having manifest contours of elementary formation of some parts of the body and others yet to form (fetus), so that We might show you (Our power and the trueness of Our Revelations). So We cause whom We please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time. Then We bring you forth as an infant, then (nourish you) so that you may reach your youth. And of you are (also) some who die (early), and some are brought to the age of senility so that (he may see this state too that) having learnt so much knowledge, now he knows (just) nothing (once more). And you see the earth completely dry (i.e., dead) and, when We shower water on it, a stir of freshness and fertility runs through it. And it swells enriched, and puts forth in pairs every kind of blooming and beauteous vegetation. [* Comprising minerals, metals, salts and chemical elements like calcium, sodium, phosphorus, potassium, natrum, kalium, silicon, chlorine, iodine, fluorine, magnesium, zinc, sulfur, ferrum, cuprum, etc. These and other elements of clay also form the ingredients of a balanced diet essential for our nourishment. The animals whose meat and milk we take live on the vegetable world. The grain, vegetables, fruits and roots that form our food feed on the soil they grow in and absorb all its chemicals.] اے لوگو! اگر تمہیں (مرنے کے بعد) جی اٹھنے میں شک ہے تو (اپنی تخلیق و ارتقاء پر غور کرو کہ) ہم نے تمہاری تخلیق (کی کیمیائی ابتداء) مٹی سے کی پھر (حیاتیاتی ابتداء) ایک تولیدی قطرہ سے پھر (رِحمِ مادر کے اندر جونک کی صورت میں) معلق وجود سے پھر ایک (ایسے) لوتھڑے سے جو دانتوں سے چبایا ہوا لگتا ہے، جس میں بعض اعضاء کی ابتدائی تخلیق نمایاں ہو چکی ہے اور بعض (اعضاء) کی تخلیق ابھی عمل میں نہیں آئی تاکہ ہم تمہارے لئے (اپنی قدرت اور اپنے کلام کی حقانیت) ظاہر کر دیں، اور ہم جسے چاہتے ہیں رحموں میں مقررہ مدت تک ٹھہرائے رکھتے ہیں پھر ہم تمہیں بچہ بنا کر نکالتے ہیں، پھر (تمہاری پرورش کرتے ہیں) تاکہ تم اپنی جوانی کو پہنچ جاؤ، اور تم میں سے وہ بھی ہیں جو (جلد) وفات پا جاتے ہیں اور کچھ وہ ہیں جو نہایت ناکارہ عمر تک لوٹائے جاتے ہیں تاکہ وہ (شخص یہ منظر بھی دیکھ لے کہ) سب کچھ جان لینے کے بعد (اب پھر) کچھ (بھی) نہیں جانتا، اور تو زمین کو بالکل خشک (مُردہ) دیکھتا ہے پھر جب ہم اس پر پانی برسا دیتے ہیں تو اس میں تازگی و شادابی کی جنبش آجاتی ہے اور وہ پھولنے بڑھنے لگتی ہے اور خوش نما نباتات میں سے ہر نوع کے جوڑے اگاتی ہے۔ (الْحَجّ - Al-Ḥajj [22 : 5])ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰہَ ہُوَ الۡحَقُّ وَ اَنَّہٗ یُحۡیِ الۡمَوۡتٰی وَ اَنَّہٗ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ قَدِیۡرٌ ۙ﴿۶﴾ (All) this (keeps happening) because Allah alone is the Real (Creator and All-Sustaining), and doubtlessly, He alone gives life to the dead and certainly, He alone is All-Powerful to do everything. یہ (سب کچھ) اس لئے (ہوتا رہتا) ہے کہ اللہ ہی سچا (خالق اور رب) ہے اور بیشک وہی مُردوں (بے جان) کو زندہ (جان دار) کرتا ہے, اور یقینًا وہی ہر چیز پر بڑا قادر ہے۔ (الْحَجّ - Al-Ḥajj [22 : 6]) The Glorious Quran App Minhaj Publications
