Well done David from Code Monkeys. Thank you for showcasing Trongate and demonstrating how a site should perform. Cheers to you DC for giving us the keys to the Lamborghini we call Trongate!
Thanks David! The 3rd party booking system bugs me too. For now, the main focus is on reversing the damage done to the client's SERPs by her previous site, building some good content, and getting people to return to the site. Then we'll be reintroducing the online shop. I'm sure a fresh booking system will be on the cards by then. Looking forward to our chat!
When you look into really great guitarist players like Jimi Hendrix and Mark Knopfler, the one thing they have in common is that they were inseparable from their guitars. In the case of Jimi Hendrix, he literally slept with his guitar! So, the best tip I have is just to have it with you all the time and play it. Watching a tutorial? Play the guitar. Watching TV? Play the guitar. Talking on the phone? Play the guitar. Waiting on a taxi? Play the guitar. Just make sure your guitar is within arms reach at all times and make it your friend. Oh, and when I say 'play' it I don't necessarily mean going into full songs. Just holding it and (very!) quietly plucking a few random notes can be good. I wish you the best of luck!
Appreciate it DC. That's basically what I've been doing. I'm 35 years old and finally decided to get a guitar. Currently watching strongman but mostly focusing on guitar patterns. I try to practice 1-2hrs per day so hopefully that'll get me somewhere. I'm not delusional, but I do think I can reach my goal of being able to strum along to my favorite songs over time. Appreciate the positive feedback. Keep on keepin' on!@@davidconnelly
I also saw one of your videos where you were picking (or whatever its called) and you did it fast as hell... I've got a routine every day.. picking, strumming pattern, spider exercises, etc, but some days it's hard to record progress, but I try to tell myself what David Goggins says: "The valiant motherfucker always wins", so I'll keep pushing
Google's Core Web Vitals RUM lags if that's what you're looking at. So it looks bad on mobile but that's because there's still a big overlap with the old site within the 28-day assessment period. It's gradually shifting and should be all green in a week or two once data from the old site drops out.
It doesn't matter how fast or how good it actually is, no body is going to take your framework seriously, your wasting your time. Developers are like sheep they follow trends and your framework will never compete with what's already out their. Sorry for the negative comments but that's just the way it is. And as you pointed out it looks like PHP is pretty much finished also, it will a long slow death but a death non the less..
@@davidconnelly You even said it yourself nobody is looking at your framework and that majority of viewers are Indian. Tells you everything you need to know.
@@davidconnelly Im not saying your bad developer I just think your wasting your time. Put your efforts into something more worth while like saas business or something.
😂😂😂😂, are you serious if trongate is the fastest framework, then where does PhalconPHP falls? You talk alot about Laravel this laravel that, but don't know much about Taylor Otwell, did you know the reason behind to build framework like laravel ! You need to homework, I suggest you stop working on trongate and first gain more information about other framework we don't any other framework You create framework and for modules you create a marketplace 😂😂😂 I RESPECT YOU SIR, But I don't understand what you're try to do ? The fastest framework in PHP has already build named as PhalconPHP, Or at least explain us does trongate is faster than phalcon?
I'm delighted to explain why Trongate is faster than Phalcon. Your request poses no difficulty at all. The following UA-cam video demonstrates an older version of CodeIgniter outperforming Phalcon: ua-cam.com/video/4bq1L_tN498/v-deo.html. Please note: I did not create the video, and I'm unaware of its creator. Nevertheless, the results from that test are clear. Phalcon lost. Since Trongate is many times faster than any version of CodeIgniter, it stands to reason that Trongate is considerably faster than Phalcon. Please note that the above test would have been before PHP 7. In other words, pure PHP has virtually doubled in speed since the above test was conducted and - today - the margin of defeat for Phalcon would be considerably greater. Phalcon's Achilles' heel is its autoloader. You can find more information about that here: github.com/phalcon/cphalcon/issues/13360. The reason why Trongate vastly outperforms Phalcon is because of how Trongate loads files. To offer a visual analogy, Phalcon is akin to a drag race car-excellent in straight lines but lacking in cornering ability. Trongate, on the other hand, resembles a Formula One racing car-impressive in straight lines and highly capable in corners at high speeds. Phalcon's autoloader forces it to take detours when attempting to move from point A to point B. Trongate, on the other hand, moves in a straight line. In short, it's all about how files are loaded. Pure PHP (without PSR-4 autoloading) beats Phalcon easily! Trongate is the only leading framework that uses pure PHP. I hope this explanation satisfactorily addresses your query. Thank you for your comment.
Provide some real world prof that people can view and test them self's and get the same results as your self. We all know results can be fake these days easy enough work with enough company's that do this stuff 😂
The framework has been up for four years. Before launch I counted 165 attacking comments on various dark corners of the web (when you declare bullschitt on an industry you offend a lot of people). Trongate has been subjected to fake security declarations and all sorts of malicious crap from naysayers. If there was a shred of a chance that the benchmarks were fake then people would have been all over that like a hot rash. So, no. I'm not going to do anything to satisfy your bullschitt.

Totally off topic, but what advice would you give to someone getting into learning acoustic guitar?

Impressive design, impressive speed. Side note: not optimal on mobile needs improvements.
