It’s been a tough week a doctors appointment every single day of the week and some more than one. But with the help of our Lord, I will get through this feeling like a human pain cushion this morning but happy to know I don’t have to go anywhere today. Joyfully waiting for father Mike..

Prayers for you. When you make a good confession, and are sorry for your sins, the Lord will hear and deliver you. He is supporting you every step of the way. Just keep focused on Him. He has the perfect timing for everything. He will always be there for you. He is ready to welcome you back. Don't doubt the Lord's love for you. He has unconditional love for everyone. He welcomes back the lost. I truly trust, in my heart, that you will make a good confession. The Lord can and will use you to inspire others to return to Him. May the Lord bless you today and always.

God is awesome. Fr. Mike as a young man thought he wasn't invited because there was something lacking in him and now, he's invited into thousands of people's home and is a friend and Father to thousands. God repays our faithfulness. God bless Fr. Mike and all who make the celebration of the Mass available.
1) I agreed to marry the father of my children. 22 years we were together. Not a lie.
2) I agreed to allow the Church to direct my single life as a consecrated lay woman. 15 years I lived my life as a hermited Church woman for the Catholic Church. Not a lie.
3) I agreed to marry a 2nd person. At this piont we're both trying to discern whether it is the right thing to do. Why? Because we don't want to live a lie for the Lord.
In the name of Jesus, I renounce the lie that I am "not good enough" to be a wife, mother, church choir member, music leader, reader at Mass, bus driver, educator, girlfriend (maybe wife again)

This homily is good solid Catholic teaching. Renouncing the spirit behind the lie is something i learned years ago at a Charismatic conference but I have forgotten to do this. You just led me in a whole lotta renouncing of lies and sins, in the Mighty name of Jesus. My name is Margaret! I prayed this morning for the Lord to speak to me about the many broken relationships with men I have walked through. My life was very much like Margaret's. I have just been able to close my eyes and visualize Jesus taking my face in his hands and telling me all the things He told the Margaret in your story. I am beginning again!
What an answer to prayer your homily has been. I listened to it twice. You are being used so powerfully by God. Thank you so much, Fr. Mike

Thank you for the beautiful message of your Homily. I totally agree that through the course of our lives we have made agreements about who we are or things we have believed. That we are not capable of changing, I am not worthy of love bc I can't keep a relationship, or I can no longer be useful bc I'm too old...etc. So you are right we have to break those agreements with these lies. These convictions that are formed are detrimental to our belief in Our Lord's mercy. So from now on I will renounce these convictions, and begin again. Thank you!!!❤
It’s funny that word Metanoia … I discovered it in late 2018 and started blabbing it all over the place and people looked at me funny. But that word helped me change and I am thankful the Holy Spirit gave me the power to change the worst parts of my life. I found it after I read the book The Three Days of Darkness which had a profound effect on me and the Book Tame your Tongue. Words have effects on others we all need to think before we talk. Especially online where we don’t know the people. Blessings to all 🙏

Thank you, Father Mike, for your enlightening homily as always. I do have something on my mind and i say this with all due respect. Regarding renouncing lies, in our daily lives as citizens of this country, it seems that many have made an agreement with lies that the former president of this country continues to propagate such as comparing himself to our Lord Jesus, among other things.I believe we are all given hearts and minds to discern what is good and kind. It just saddens me to see such things continue to happen. I think of Jesus' message of love and compassion and what i see from the former president is completely opposite.

It’s been rough week, I believe the father is there, but I’m struggling mentally. A reminder that life can change in a snap., Why do bad things happen to good people all the time? A mystery. For I know I should worship now more than ever, but it’s just been difficult to be glad doing so, if I’m masking anger instead of showing sadness. Time is what is need .

I must renounce the lies of worthlessness and uselessness given by a priest in his sermon, criticising me from the alter. As a result, this priest's sermon has triggered mental health issues in me. I have been in a state of mental distress for over a week. I will allow Jesus to heal me, in his own time. I believe that Jesus can heal my brokenness.
