I've played card games at anime conventions, but I've yet to participate in a major event for a game I play itself. I would love to stay involved in Shadowverse Evolve as well as Vanguard to be able to make it to these kinds of events sooner than later. From a production side of things, I just want to add thank you for branching out into these vlog style videos. I know it takes a minute to get them out, but the fact you're willing to get the permission to record and produce the videos and host the walkthrough of all the events and everything, it's awesome to get an inside look at some of these things, and I'm looking forward to seeing more event coverage with Man on the Street Kris.
Thanks for the video. It's interesting to see how different the game is compared to the west but the tcg spirit is just as refreshing for both scenes. Looking forward for future tournaments.
Yooooo, is that THE Yuuya Watanabe?!? I used to LOVE watching him play his pro MtG games until the scandal happened. Good to see he's been taken a more supportive role in other TCGs.
Woah, is dis normal in every country? Ive nvr been to any tounaments before. I managed to qualify for 1 before but none of my friends did. So my parents were like "Nah, no point den". And i hv nvr played wif friends ever since. Thx for de video! Im more conviced to pull off a anime protag move by asking my parents continuously until im finally allowed to play wif friends again😅😅😅
Man this video makes these events look so much fun. It makes me want to play Evolve so bad lmao, too bad theres no scene where I live.
Actually got my friend a starter deck and we've been giving the game a shot!. Very awesome video!!
Absolutely love this video. Can’t wait to c what other surprises Evolve has in store for us in the future. Keep up the wonderful work Chris.
DF: When we think of Trading Card Game Events often the first thing that comes to mind is -
Me: "the smell"
DF: The tournament itself
Me: "Dammit"
Awesome video! I really liked the detail and the documentary energy, it worked super well
