Small correction: Those expensive timecode slates are thick because there are very fancy electronics inside. If that wasn't the case, they would be thin too, because that thin plate acts as light diffusion for you to put a flashlight behind when slating in the dark.
Well yes that's because the Stupid Expensive ones are Electronic. I use Ext. and Int. in My Vids. It's a Nice Tutorial, and your right The Tube really Doesn't have them.
