@@kruesioriginals I just installed the accelerator pump nozzel. In the instructions from CV Performance you aim the squirter at the notch at the back of the float bowl which I did. Doing that the spray goes by the right side of the needle you say to aim at. It runs good but if it atomizes better hitting the needle I'd like to twist it to hit the needle. Since you've done a few what do you thunk, will it make any difference? My bike is an 03, 95 inch, Mondello heads and Wood Tg8 Cams and Dynatek ign and Dark horse crank. It screams but always looking for the advantage. Thanks for an answer.

Bring bike upto temp. Set idle speed then turn the air fuel screw in until it stumbles then back out until its running good and add like an 8th of a turn should be good to go. These carbs are really simple.

Chanfed the spring and fuel diaphragm and little o ring on there. Any idea? Whole project was to up the low jet from the 42 in it to a 45 to get rid if the CV carn spit/cough off idle and air fuel screw with an adjustable. Im mechanical and this seemed simpe but she wont squirt. Knew that was a myth. Lol. Seriously though. Hope you see this. Was following this video step by step to do the parts i wanted to. Keep in mind that before the mod, the float bowl vented into the air cleaner, and after the mod it vents directly to atmosphere. Since the pressure in the air cleaner is less than atmospheric, the bike will run a bit richer on all circuits as a result of the mod (because there is now a little extra "push", provided by the atmospheric pressure, to get the fuel from the float bowl and through the jets, in addition to the big "pull" of the vacuum in the venturi and the intake manifold).

I’m thinking the main is fine at 195 but I’m feeling like I should bump the idle to 45 or 48 since she’s running rich with a 42 or if you think 42 is the go to spot still. Nice video. Ryan here's a feature on the 2001 Buell M2 CYCLONE EVO SPORTSTER MOTOR . That Eric Buell put on those bikes . what it is is a external idle adjustment feature..it should fit on any 40 mm cv carb. If I'm correct!! And I have been wrong at times so check it out. This little gizmo screws into the back of the carb .it features approximately a 10" cable mounted knob that after routing sticks out past the frame and gas tank.. making quick and easy idle changes effortless on the fly. I love mine. Also you can use it on cold starts to help your bike warm up faster, using less time on choke mode!! .I THINK EVERY CV EQUIPPED HARLEY THAT CAN USE IT SHOULD HAVE IT INSTALLED??? IM FUCKING VERY SERIOUS ON THAT POINT!!! LOOK UP THE BUELL CV CARB. I'm not sure how many were installed but ifin you can do it..DO IT.. NOW IF I COULD FIND A FUEL ADJUSTMENT SCREW JUST LIKE IT, IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITY OF JUST REACHING DOWN AND TWISTING . INSTEAD OF LAYING ON YOUR BACK TO FIND THE Fuel SCREW.OR RIPPING THE CARB OFF TOO FIND IT.OR BURNING YOUR HAND ON HOT MOTOR.
