- We made an huge trebuchet and threw fireballs at a fort Jacob made. He hoped to protect himself but steel weight and fireballs prove to be effective projectiles. In this video Jacob builds a fort to protect himself as I attempt to burn it to the ground with my trebuchet. I hurl several different items down range. the best being the steel dumbbell and the flaming log!

Note: all the fire scenes were done in a controlled environment. We had crew and other people just off frame with firefighting equipment ready to put the flames out in between takes after each throw.

How do you aim these dang things?
Having trouble? It took us a while to dial in. A big issue we had was the sling release pin kept moving. We made a way to fix it in place then used washers to adjust the angle by small increments.

Absolutely correct. Believe me we took precautions. We had fire extinguishers and other equipment along with a water tank truck just out of frame and rushed to put everything out right after each take.
