Very similar to your paradox v3, just with a slightly longer reach due to a steeper seatangle and a shorter Seat Tube. Looks like they listen closely to your reviews and thats very good. Will be interesting to hear your thoughts about it in comparison to your paradox.
Well done passila another beautiful welded frame, and another frame pushing the boundary of hardtail geo. The welds on my ti Ramakka is just the same..
That frame is a thing of beauty. Been thinking of getting a full suspension as a second bike, but with hardtails like these popping around makes it hard to chose one or the other.
You’ve got my attention Steve, I’m a sucker for Titanium Hardtail’s……Can’t wait for the follow up trail ride!! As usual, thank you for the tremendous work y’all put into your brand! You definitely have that special sauce!
As someone who is still in the thought process of future bike(s), I like to see videos like this to see more of different solutions as well as bike brands that are new to me. In regards to sliding dropouts, I would simply purchase a rebuild kit and just have it just in case. If it's a bike used for longer trips you can even carry that with you. You don't have to, but you can... I'd rather carry spare brake pads though.
That’s a tall head tube! It’s nice that a 2nd water bottle fits inside the front triangle but people who’ve cut their steerer tubes and don’t run a load of spacers might need to buy a new fork.
Yup. That's why I always keep my steer tubes long. It's impossible to get a tall stack with a 120mm fork without a tall head tube. Those that prefer a shorter stack may prefer the pipedream Sirius s5
Looks awesome! I still enjoy watching these even though I just got and love my Bikes you helped me sort out! Sliding dropouts would have been my only additional wish.
As a tall guy that massive headtube is the first thing I noticed. Headtubes are always too small for tall riders. And I'm sure I'll be dreaming of a 29+ titanium rig again tonight. Hopefully one day I'll find exactly what I'm looking for. There's just something so classy and sexy about a titanium frame that I nearly break my neck every time I see one on the trail.
@@hardtailparty yes sir! Prior I had a 2014 trek remedy 🥲. My new Nukeproof is just too fun. It's my first "modern" bike. It has reinvigorated my riding.
@@hardtailparty I just had to look it again up but the Töyrä dirt frame seemingly disappeared from their website, would be a shame if thats permanent since I was strongly considering it for next season
too late now anyway :) hope you enjoy the Stif as much as I do. I had mine for a year now and I am still amazed at how playful and capable this bike is, especially for the relatively short travel. Have fun with it! PS: I had bugged Stif as well to send one to Steve, but to no avail. Their loss, I guess - or they sell out all their frames anyway
Really looking forward to the ride review of the Juntu...and really enjoyed your videos on the Binary Maniak...wondering if comparison videos of the Juntu vs Maniak vs Middle Child vs Sherpa Ti frames?
@@hardtailparty Excellent, please drop it soon! Contemplating a light weight SS build with a SID, largely due to your influence!!! Need to start securing parts while I can find them!
This one really has my interest. With all the tire clearance this has, did you have any issue with heel strikes/rub on the chainstay? I tend to pedal with the ball of my foot centered over or jusssst barely forward of the spindle.
I tend to run the ball of my foot pretty far ahead of the spindle. I even modify my shoes to accept the cleats farther back. I have small size 9.5 shoes too. No heel rub for me.
So I noticed this bike has a tall stack at 645, does that mean you are not going to run your riser bar or that you will? How does this factor in the field review?
Sadly I don't have enough parts to do a head to head. :) I have to strip one down and swap the other frame over. I will definitely talk about how they compare though.
I don't like long geometry Especially the long top tubes Even with the short stem, the geometry feels unnatural... Something like Jeff Jones geometry, would be perfect for me 😅 Greetings from Croatia 😎
How is one supposed to ever make a decision with all these awesome hardtails dropping!
The sound of that hub is just spot on..perfection!! I run those and in all of my videos I post ppl always comment how they love that buzz
I'm more of a silent hub guy myself, but a lot of people love that buzz
@@hardtailparty oh yeah

Beautiful frame. Can't wait to hear how the ride quality compares to the really compliant bikes you've ridden in the past year or so.
I have to agree, hardtails have been getting pretty rad over the past couple of years. Especially with some of the "smaller" companies.
That frame is a thing of beauty. Been thinking of getting a full suspension as a second bike, but with hardtails like these popping around makes it hard to chose one or the other.

Thank you so much for the kind words.
That bike with the lighting and grey background is 🤌
Looks great. The headtube is a masterpiece....
That is a beautiful bike for sure.👍
One of the most incredible looking bikes to come across my stand.

That headtube caught my eye as well
Looking forward to the ride review. Have you ridden the newer Lynskey Livewire yet?
No
Now, this might be a winner....Looking forward to the trail review! (:
I recently got a Nukeproof scout 290 and I LOVE IT!
Glad to hear it. Hardtails rule.

I put a trust message fork on my ragley big al and I’m loving it with shorter travel
Seeing the Päsilliä titanium dirt jump frame in action would be extremely interesting if you feel comfortable giving that niche a try
I'm not much of a dirt jumper anymore but i do love pump tracks. I'd love to try out their ti DJ.

Hi Elias. It is coming back. We just didn't get it ready for our new web store yet. Sorry for this!
Hopefully getting a fuse soon! Thanks for all the awesome advice and reviews.
never aware of Passilia until your reviews last year - the video very sweet bike but the shirt man makes it happen on film 😎
Now that's a fine looking bike!
A Finn-looking bike indeed!
I have now built up my Stif Squatch and am still waiting for a review. Come on maaaan :D
Much love dude
It's up to stiff, not me. I've bugged them for months to net one, but no love.

NS Surge evo for a modern slack 26er and either this bike or a kingdom vendetta x3

Nice work, as always. Another Ti build I'd like to see you review is the Solace OM-1.
The head tube is massive, I've never seen 145mm before.
I love it. It's the only way to get tall stack with a 120mm fork
@@hardtailparty I like that headtube too. Wouldn't need so much rise on the bars to get a good feeling stack height
Anxiously awaiting your review!

Juntu vs Ti MC (when set up 130mm forks)
They sure seem similar!
They ride surprisingly different

Titanium is real ;-)
And by the way Steve, what 27.5x3.0 tires are you using? It seems to be more and more difficult to find ones these days!
I want one!

Steve, do you have a Starling HT review in the pipeline? Thanks Martin
Sadly no
Hey Hardtail Party! Curious if the company has any plans to make this in steel? Thanks!
Hi John. We would love to. It really depends how everything with the ti Juntu goes. Cheers. Markku from Pässilä.
Man that's a good looking bike! Sounds like another sweet bike by them. Is a steel version of the Juntu in the works as well?

I have several bars to choose from. I typically try different bars throughout the review to get the stack where I want it.

One day I'd like to
How heavy what's the price
