Your quality of production is the best from all the vloggers in Zimbabwe ,,, keep it up ndoda u r the only UA-camr doing authentic and not fake staff in zimbabwe
In Zim we use peanut butter l think you are from the North cuz Batswana doesnt know that type of relish l have some friends took them to Zim they were surprised.
@@shamisomakuvaro9393 am from the North East of Botswana near Zim/Plumtree border,am a kalanga. Its an ethnic yummy dish, not every motswana will know it of course,it depends which part of the country one originate.
@@revothomas9343 l thought so thats why l askd if you are from the North thats where l know that you cook it that way ne Zengwe.l am in Gaborone and my friends are from around this side they didnt evn want to taste.
I like traditional foods. Doesn’t cause diabetes or high blood pressure. The way mama broke it down for us ngamafutha, it is true. Amafutha angakhona is vegetable oil on top of that. The most unhealthy oil that has been directly linked to chronic diseases. It’s good to go back to basics.
Something I noticed with traditional foods they taste very different when cooked over fire in cast iron pots, very very different and more tasty. Just by simmering with salt only the fire itself adds a lot of flavour and concentrates some flavors
Ubhobola ngamabisi❤️❤️❤️. And sometimes with dhobi, dovi in Shona . Is my favourite by far and I still reminisce of my old days emakhaya in Zim ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love your content. Glad I ran into this video. As a South African Pedi girl, I must say I thought you were from Kwa-Zulu Natal. Not only did I learn about traditional food but I also discovered the similarities of the Ndebele and the Zulu languages. It makes me feel at home.
Thank you. My late sister in law told me one can eat pumpkin leaves and stalks. But I never knew how to cook it. Thank you again for your informative video.
This was very interesting. The interview with Mama was well done, well explained each step of the way. Again your editing is really good, the subtitles are helpful for non Ndebele speakers. I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers.
Beautiful videos indeed, you doing a very good work teaching about isintu and our true original culture not these processed foods of today . Keep it up wish you all the best. ❤❤❤❤

Ngapha there's a divide one uthanda ibhobola omunye ulude 😀. Please consider doing short videos they reach a wider audience quicker and might get you to the 1000 subs mark - Maybe the first 20secs and funnel them back to the longer video.
Konke kukhona. Ulaza ngamafutha esiwasebenzisa nxa kuphekwa ibhobola (fresh cream) while Umlaza (whey) is the water that is removed nxa sokuhlukaniswa amanzi lawa lamasi

Dhobi is different from Bhobola, you use ground bilton & peanuts.
