That same bike is sold in the Philippines with a 150 CC. Everything has to be adjusted. After adjustments with the carb the bike had a really great improvement. Most people change the sprockets then that gives even more performance.
You can improve the acceleration by doing sprocket changes on transmission and rear wheel 16 to 17 on transmission and 43 to 45 on rear wheel and also change the carburetor to a mikuni carburetor and straight pipe the exhaust system.
@@vincem4756 not that I can find these motorcycle's are fairly new in the USA so modifications done on these motorcycle's probably not done at this time but gie it a few more years from now then you might find some.
@@Jay-jb2vr back pressure is the enemy of performance because it causes the head of the engine to run hot the easier the engine can breathe the better it can perform you try breathing through a straw for 15 minutes and see how well you feel after the 15 minutes.
Hey there! Can you do a quick walk around of the bike? There aren’t a lot of videos out there of real people riding these. CSC has tons of videos, but it would be nice to see it in real application. Also how tall are you and how does the bike feel in relation to your size? Thank you!
+1 MakeYourOwnAdventure This is a very old school, hands-on machine w no computery stuff in the engine and on top of that good luck in finding a shop that will touch it. Not trying to throw out negative vibes just being super honest with my experience.
Hey @Claire (love your channel BTW); I got this bike to learn how to work on motorbikes and quickly learned I have no interest in learning how to work on motorbikes. That being said if you don't know how to work on a motorbike and don't want to learn, this might not be as fun a project 6 to 8 months down the road when you need a tuneup or something. Hope that helps keep up the great work!
@@jordanstreetstudios looks like 2020 is getting disc brakes all around. I would be a new rider, want to learn / know how to ride a shift bike, don't care about power, just easy around town maybe to work (spring/summer).
Super late reply sorry about that. This is a really fun toy for tooling around the neighborhood and a ride to the coffee shop. Also if you are handy with a wrench it's pretty cheap transportation.
Thanks for the tip Tommy. This guy doesn't move until you're at 6k RPMs in almost any gear. I don't know if that's normal, but I got the bike to force me to learn this stuff! :)
Is this a review?

@@rustybeatty6567 I read somewhere that if you straight pipe a bike, the bike will lose back pressure

"Fun as heck" is the punch line.
I'm concerned about the 7k rev limiter you mention. I don't recall any other TT/SG owners talking about that.
He may just be nitpicking
yeah probably :)

If you complained so much about the power, why did you buy a 230 cc bike?
Hey Grillo no complaints, just observations. Thanks for stopping by! 👍🏽
230cc??

Yup me too! This bike looks ideal
What do you mean there is no turbo? How can they not have one for 2k? lol. For real though it seems really zippy around town.

How long did it take for it to ship?
Seemed like forever, but I believe it was ~8 weeks from deposit to showing up on my doorstep.
No Turbo???????????
Haha! I know right? /sarcasm 😃

@@jordanstreetstudios its because of the gear ratio, the HP, and torque.
