  • In 1980, Mo-dettes released their fourth single, "Dark Park Creeping". It was backed by "Two Can Play". The A side appeared on their debut (and only) album, The Story So Far. The B side was a non-LP track. They were an all-female band that formed in England (though guitarist Kate Korus was born in the U.S. and singer Ramona Carlier was originally from Switzerland) and lasted through the release of six singles and one album before disbanding in 1982.

There's something about these songs, witty, fun and bloody brilliantly made. I'm sure they had lot's of fun making them!

Really sinister sounding 45. Very underrated band. Often (wrongly) lumped in with the Mod revival bands, who I still love, I think they're really 'their own band' so to speak.

Heard this on a John Peel show from 1980 I downloaded. From their name I had assumed them to be some kind of revival band but they're much more interesting than that.

very true especially with this band BUT that is what makes them great! flaws! all the greatest artists have bad songs, and wonderful flaws that make them one of a kind! These ladies played hard and aggressive their mistakes are kind of fun.

a commentor below thinks Taylor Swift is better. I called it a russian C***t bot! And that's exactly what the Modettes would have said!!!!!!!! proper!
