American Flag Card: I remember seeing it, wondering what the purpose of it was, looking at the back for the first time and sieving it immediately. That cards has seen a lot of oxygen, but it's a 9. I'll keep it.
@@jamesnguyen7069 no I am in PA just outside of Philly. I started collecting Will when I was 10 and 2 years later I watched the 89 NLCS. I wore a SF starter jacket to a Phillies game and he nearly hit one out. Best player who didn’t use steroids not in the HOF in my opinion.
i just cracked my first box of Sports cards last night. it was alot of fun. no skenes 1/1 though. haha. I enjoyed the video, I'm just starting to get into this stuff. any tips on starting out?
Don't overspend on apps like Whatnot or eBay live. I spent a lot of money on team breaks where I got absolutely nothing to show for it. It is gambling and it's addictive. If you do buy on whatnot - get personal breaks. I scored both of my CJ's on the personal breaks. Take pictures of your cards using different settings on your phone before submitting to PSA. I noticed flaws on cards I thought were 10's by doing that, also I was able to clean up fingerprints and sometimes you can buff out flaws using microfiber material, but you wipe it down lightly for a long time. eBay charges a lot if you promote your listings, and trust me, you have to do it or the inventory sits. Right now I am only able to keep 54% of my earnings and that's before all the other outside costs. What I am doing from now on is buying chase cards on eBay raw and getting them graded. Ripping packs for chase cards is way too expensive - I will come out on top in the long term, but business wise I would have done way better to buy raw on eBay, get them graded and the cost of the cards wouldn't have been as heavy. I am going to get a huge refund check after I submit my Schedule-C, but still. Those are the important things that I've learned so far.
I knew I got murdered shortly after I sent this submission. I started taking pictures of cards on my iPhone using the "vivid" setting and noticed that there were a lot of flaws with the cards I thought were possible 10's. There is a lot I should have looked into before I got into this. I spent a lot of money (way too much), trying to build my collection and inventory and I don't think I can make that back until I get a couple of PSA orders back. The only thing saving this order are the CJ Stroud autos. I'm not normally this pessimistic. I am hyped about the next submission.
yes, but i have to be careful as I made a rookie mistake. I accidentally sold the Don Mattingly for $125 Buy it now, and not $125 starting bid. I honored the sale. It should have went for a lot. Anyway, the lessons we learn right?
For getting destroyed u sure made out rather well on this order. U should make your money back and get a few pc cards and fetch $400-$800 roughly . #38
@@troykoontz I’m still new to this and thought I had made some really bad judgement calls. I’m really happy with how it turned out. I wish PSA 9’s sold for more, I lost money on a lot of my cards at auction. I’ve learned you can’t base this kind of hobby/side business on one card. Now I see that it’s a lose some/get back whatever you can/make up the losses on other cards/kind of business. I just started auctioning this past week. I’m still learning.
Happy to be subscriber number 3. keep up the good work.
Good stuff my man! Thanks for sharing
Great video buddy. Keep em coming.
Nice job on the video. I enjoyed seeing your cards.
The plastic sleeves are usually to protect the cards on each end of the pile.
@ Your video is very good
Thank you for explaining that. I just didn't know that Card Stores would do that - and I know why they were there now, thanks!

Since when do they do point grades on psa
For a guy that is so happy to get a 10 there was a lot of complaining in this video.

I hate p.s.a myself. I know they bring in thr most value if ur selling but i onky grade p.c so i just role with p.s.a
Don't cry for nines. Give me a break. You wanted all of them to be tens?
Yep! I did want them to all be 10’s.
Price the 9s you probably made decent money on a few of them.
